The perfect fit for the HP Enviy 1070. Wanted to upgrade with more ram. 16 gigabytes were installed, thought I would bump it up a little. As soon as installed piece of cake. It power up without a hitch. Ran super fast. They immediately went to work for me to get the correct part. Great Job !!! Thnks B /H.

3200 MHZ whereas another well known brand of PC4-25600 3200 MHz defaulted to 2400 MHz. HP bios did not have the option of setting memory speed so other brand was returned. Apparently many others have encountered this issue as there are YouTube videos on the topic of some HP desktops not being XMP compatible, required to obtain 3200 MHZ by other brands. Simple solution is to purchase Crucial memory which is as advertised, fully compliant with the HP motherboard and standard used by original factory memory.

I only write reviews if I'm really impressed or really disgusted. I needed more RAM for my computer. Dell wanted $360 for 32 GB (2 sticks of 16). I used the "upgrade my computer" on this website and selected my model and found that I could get the same RAM for a little over $100. I will say it took some faith and trust that the computer selector would give me the correct RAM for my system. It worked and saved me time and money.

Installed in second, empty slot. Recognized as added RAM at same 3200 clock as 8Gb in first slot. Wanted matching brand to OEM, but works great allaying concerns. Paired with 10th Gen Core I3.
I am aware of this companies desire to produce quality products. They put all memory products through rigorous and extensive testing procedures. I know because I used to work at the company!I have already recommended crucial.com to friends and family. Their products never disappoint.
A month ago, I bought a new HP Tower that although is a good computer, it came with just 4GB in RAM and was slow handlingseveral applications at the same time. Taking advantage of the additional memory slot, I acquired and installed this 16 GB DDR4 Memory Module. Now the computer, working with 20 GB in RAM, has amazing performance completing routines and tasks in a quarter of the time as it was before this improvement.
I exchange the RAM- modules and the BIOS shows me only "55". Dark screen, no chance to see anything. After a long time of investigation, I decide me to update my Z370 professional BIOS to the latest version 4.20.After I update the BIOS all works fine.Thank you crucial to give me the recommendation for the DDR4 modules :-)GreetingsMichael
Put this memory in a Dell XPS8940 i purchased from Dell. The machine came pre-loaded with 2x16gb sticks, running at 2933 mhz. Ran the compatibility test on it from Crucial. ordered two 16gb sticks CT2K16G4DFD832A. Put them in the machine, and the memory speed dropped in both single and dual channel mode to 2400 with 4 16 gb sticks in it, 2 from dell the CT2K16G4DFD832A from Crucial. Don't know if Dell has some sort of limiter or if Crucial's compatibility applet were off.
I initially bought these for a custom ITX build to help save space. I had to scrap that project. I picked up an HP Pavilion with a Ryzen 7 5700g that came with 1 stick of 16 GB RAM. I swapped in 2 of the Crucial sticks and everything works great. HP doesn't allow overclocking RAM, so the fact that these run at 3200 without needing XMP is a huge advantage.
I maxed out the memory in my desktop for my work with this, and the performance is great now. Only hiccup was the install not being recognized til I pulled the battery on the motherboard and waited 15 minutes so the BIOS could reset and recognize the memory. All in all, worth the money for the upgrade and I'm able to open projects much more easily.
