I ignored the specialist after getting nowhere and upgraded the wiring to 70mm2 and BAM! It is AMAZING. Only now after almost a year of purchasing the unit do I get a real charge. I Definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants serious charge power.

I decided to take the plunge alittle further by incorporating the smartpass to my existing ctek duel system. So easy to install under the bonnet due to its small size but l have still had to seperate my duel dc to dc and the smartpass to different locations due to limited available room. I am yet to run the heavy cables that can handle the 100amps between my 2 120amp hr deep cycle batteries (one under the bonnet and the 2nd battery behind the passengers seat) but l believe this will be the worst part of the installation. I have no doubt that the system will work as stated by manufacturers.

This Smartpass unit has been a great addition to my dual battery system, boosting the charging current to 80 amps. Easy to install and connect, I can now camp isolated for extended periods without running the engine.
The cteck chargers are the pick of chargers for the money.
