Love the consistency this rice cooker gives. Always the same and love the fact it has a reheat function too. Very consistent in the results there. My favourite function is the oatmeal. I load it up with all the fixings and can set a timer for it to be done in the morning. Result is a warm fresh breakfast that hardly takes any effort. Cleanup is a breeze!Cons: not enough one pot recipes and have had trouble finding some online for this type of cooker. Also it does not come with a steamer insert.

I love the design of this product. It's a very simple, clean, white appliance that doesn't make my counter look cluttered. I also love the reheat feature because we are big into leftovers as a busy family of four. With that being said, one con is how long it takes to cook the rice. White rice for 1-6 people takes approximately 36-54 minutes. For a side item, that's a long time! If you aren't in a rush, this product will work great for you. With a little patience, you can have delicious tasting rice in less than an hour.

This is a review for a rice cooker. I have had one a long time ago but I switched to minute rice and had no need for it. BUT this is unlike ANY rice cooker I have ever seen! The buttons aren’t buttons per se but just a flat surface touch panel. The instructions are super simple. So I bought a bag of long grain brown rice. I put in 4 cups of rice and then filled with water to the multigrain 4 cup line. I set the menu to multigrain and the sticky setting is on so I am unsure if I did that correctly or not. The package directions say it will take 45-50 minutes to cook and this took 1 hour and 25 minutes. So, longer. BUT the saving grace is that it is a set it and forget it scenario. I have had cheap rice cookers as well as cooked rice on the stove for many years. I was honestly in the fence in spending so much for a rice cooker but I do not regret at all! It is one of the best purchases I’ve made! The rice is perfectly fluffy every time. It is super easy to use and to clean. It takes about 35 min to cook the rice in the setting I use, but there are other settings you can choose from. You can even customize it further if prefer but I have been sticking to the preset programs and it is working perfect for me.I definitely recommend to everyone I know!!
I always have the tiger rice cooker brand but in just 1 to 2 yrs the inner pot was damaged and start peeling off. And overtime the taste of the taste of the rice gets really bad and spoiled easily. When I first saw the Cuckoo in Asian store, the price was more but you can easily see the well made of the pot. The cuckoo inner pots was thicker than the tiger and the rice tends to stay longer without spoiling. Not yo mention the rice cooked in cucckoo was way better and taste pretty good no matter what rice brand cooked., still taste good even day after days.
We've never used a rice cooker before so it was a bit of a surprise to find out that it actually takes longer to make sticky rice in this rice cooker than it does on the stove. However, it did taste better and have a better texture! We just need to plan a little further ahead next time. Love the design aesthetics. It looks really nice & high-tech on the counter. Easy enough to use once you get the hang of it although the measurement lines inside are a little difficult to see & read. That part could be improved for legibility.

I am looking forward to making sticky white rice next to use for my California rolls that we eat often but I can say if the liquid boils over on to the top and it takes 38 minutes to make a small amount of “quick” white rice each time I will go back to using my trusty old Aroma rice cooker that is small, super quick to cook, and never boils over making a huge mess.
I love this rice cooker! It has exceeded my expectations as I recently made a delicious one pot salmon rice dish that simply turned out fantastic! Who knew you could cook salmon in a rice cooker? The rice cooker will not only cook the rice to perfection but also steam the salmon, resulting in tender, flavorful fish. Overall, this appliance is truly amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to cook with minimal effort (and have only one pot to clean up afterwards)!
