Love it! Its light, nice size, cleans well, good cooking material..what else can I ask for? For my Latinas I cooked a rice with black beans on it and it cooked so well, way much better that those aluminum pots. Get rid of aluminum in your kitchen. Buy products like this. I would wish if the pot had a shorter handle because my stove is small and pots dont fit well. Other than that, this is an excellent buy.

Perfect size for our small family, frying, steaming, deep-frying, stir-frying are all suitable, I like it very much. But the disadvantage is that the handle on the pot lid is too hot to hold. It would be better if a small handle is added to the other end of the pot.

Light weight and heats evenly across the bottom. I bought Otto have a stove top in the oven pan. I’ve used it for boiling pasta and steaming corn. Versatile and reliable. Basically almost as good as a spouse.

Would not recommend.Great size, weight, balance, but it's not stainless steel and will pit. I used it one time for maybe 15 mins. on med-low heat to make an ice cream base. When I cleaned it afterwards I saw little black spots in the bottom of the pan that weren't there before. They looked like small flecks of vanilla bean, but the only problem was I didn't use any vanilla bean, and the bottom of the pan was brand-new, shiny and spotless when I started.I had read a couple of other comments citing this same issue before I bought it but decided to try it anyway. if a pot doesn't say 18/8 (?) stainless steel on the bottom of it then don't buy it because it won't last. Kind of sad because I have had good experiences with Cuisinart in the past and was pretty hyped ... MoreWould not recommend.Great size, weight, balance, but it's not stainless steel and will pit. This is the worst purchase I made. First use, the inside bottom developed black spots - upon closer look I saw that the steel coating from the inside came out! Next use, everything started sticking to the bottom even with plenty of oil. Third use, things were worse! I could contact Cuisinart support and get a replacement but figured I will have the same problems with the new one! Many people on Amazon posted on the same issue. I trashed my pan yesterday! I bought this at amazon but reviewing here since amazon is having tech issues. Please save your money.
I've got traditional, 25+ year-old cookware that I still love, but was intrigued by the shape of this pot and bought it along with a 1.5 qt pot in the same line but with a different shape. I love the style--it feels elegant and like food will taste better before it even hits the pan. I am looking forward to creating many dishes in this pot, which I didn't even need, but am so glad I bought. That said, if I'd seen this in the store, I probably would not have purchased it for two reasons: I've never liked pots that have the back of the handle screws sticking out on the inside; and even though it nests well with my other pots, it doesn't fit in my cabinet that way and I have to dig it out from the back. That said, I'm glad I ordered it and am not returning it.
I absolutely love this pan, which is surprising to me. I have been a non-stick pan user for many years. The only time I tried using a stainless steel pan, the food stuck so badly that I rarely used it. I am trying to get away from pans with non-stick coating due to the toxicity. Even so, I was hesitant about purchasing this pan, but after using it for the past couple of months, I am completely in love with it. I use it for everything I can. It is a solid, well constructed piece of cookware. If I am cooking something that tends to stick, prior to cleaning, I just run hot water in the pan for a few seconds, and all food comes right off. I can say enough good things or recommend this pan highly enough.
Great piece. Love cooking with stainless. My first purchase and I couldn’t be happier. Cleans up well
perfect pan for 1-2 persons eating. very great nonstick properties without the chemical coating. very easy to clean to keep its outstanding shiny look
this pan is the right size for preparing food for any meal. it is a lot like a wok, but with a flat thick bottom. I have used it for cooking steaks, omelets, meatballs, and stir fry (the high curved sides make it child-play to mix veggies with one hand), fried chicken, etc. easy to clean up. high-quality pan and has an impressive shine. comes with a fitted matching lid. I am a cast iron guy, but I would be lying if I said I didn't find myself reaching for this pan as a first choice.
