Best ice cream maker!

I've never had an ice cream maker before so I thought I'd give this one a try and purchased it when it was a TSO. First time we used it, we made a beautiful, creamy batch of vanilla ice cream and it only took 25 minutes! So easy to use this machine we won't be buying ice cream from the supermarket anymore. The best thing too is we know what the ingredients are and my child loved being involved in the process of making it. We used organic cream and milk, vanilla bean and stevia for sweetness. It was delicious! We are making pistachio next, can't wait!

Did anyone get instruction manual & recipe booklet?

Rather disappointed, was so excited to buy this machine, when I opened it no instruction manual or recipe booklet, I purposely bought it for kids party wasnt able to use. When I called customer service I was told instruction manual and recipe booklet isonline, wish I had known earlier would have printed it, I didnt see it written anywhere maybe I missed the fine print. Oh well.

Disappointing

I received my ice cream maker a few days ago, that I was looking forward to. I got a non-dairy soy milk recipe from the Cuisinart website and followed it to the letter and also followed exactly what needed to be done to prepare the machine. Within about 5 minutes of the machine churning the ice cream had lumped up and although the bowl was still turning the ice cream was no longer churning. Kept it in the machine for another 10 to 15 minutes just in case it worked but there was no improvement. Put the ice cream in the freezer for about 3 hours took it out it and it was very watery and the texture was not nice at all. I tried it again and the same thing happened. Maybe the machine is just meant to be used with cow's milk so if you are vegan do not go for this ... MoreI received my ice cream maker a few days ago, that I was looking forward to. Fantastic -even for for keto/low carb diets
9 February 2022

Never really thought about buying an ice cream maker before but I have to say it’s great. Very easy to use and to mess about with my own creations. I’m making keto ice cream which tastes just like the real thing. Will be great for dinner parties too.

Fantastic machine
25 August 2022

Easy to use, comes with a book of recipes and instructions. Fast easy icecream which you can make however you like. Only problems are you have to freeze the bowl for 8hr minimum before you use so you have to plan ahead, and also it doesn’t make super firm icecream - but still fantastic!

Good Value Ice Cream Maker
13 October 2021

I've had a cheaper machine before that was noisy and took ages, with the motor in the base this little beastie is gruntier and quieter. By freezing the bowl at least overnight and chilling the creme anglaise well before churning it's delivering Ice Cream in about 20 minutes. Every attempt has been successful so far too!If you want a good value, reliable machine this is it I reckon.

Great ice cream
12 January 2023

Have not made ice cream in many years. This was easy to use after reading instructions. Similar to old machine I used to use so I was happy with it. Great ice cream. So much better than the store bought stuff.

Great little gadget
27 December 2021

Great little gadget for my daughter for Christmas. Also as a way we can use up our homegrown egg supply! We’ve already had fun making vanilla bean ice cream and frozen yogurt from store bought. Works well, is quick, and the result is every bit as good as gourmet expensive ice cream.

Love it!
9 February 2022

I love this ice-cream machine. I read some of the bad reviews and was a bit concerned that it would have a thick layer of ice around the edge of the bowl but not at all, this thing churns beautifully and we make fresh ice-cream nearly every day! My daughter is dairy-free so we use coconut milk which is so creamy and delicious, MUCH nicer than the store-bought dairy-free ice-creams. We have been using the machine for about 2 months and so far I would highly recommend it.

What a Game Changer
19 January 2023

Surprised my husband with this icecream maker. WHAT A GAME CHANGER!! It is effortless. The recipes provided are easy to use and the taste is quite amazing. I prefer ice cream made from a custard base but whatever you use, this churn does it very well. Hesitated on buying the Kitchenaid attachment and so glad I did. For a quicker churn time, I 'quick cool' the mixed ingredients in the freezer and this takes a good 5 mins + off the time. The freezer bowl keeps its frozen state for some time and it can be washed relatively quickly after churning. As mentioned in instructions put bowl in thick plastic shopping bag (handles) in freezer so it can be easily lifted out. My bag is in freezer permanently. Bought this as a TSO and well worth it.
