I've been using the Cuisinart Food Processor for over 10 years, and it has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen. Despite being the most affordable model, it performs all the essential tasks I need with ease. Remarkably, it still works as efficiently as the day I bought it and looks just as new, thanks to its durable construction. This product is louder than a commercial lawn mower, hurts the ears when "chopping". It is so loud I keep earplugs near the product to prevent the pain of the noise. The product does a great job of chopping/grinding, easy to use and clean. I am disappointed in Cuisinart for not figuring out a way to reduce the decibel level of small device. The decibel level during operation should be listed as a specification for this type of product.

I always wanted a food processor. Had to return the bigger one due to lack of space. I was very sad. I was going to return this one as I thought it's too small to be useful. However, when I saw the small one, I wanted to keep it just because it was cute and managed to find space for it. Used it to chop some parsley for the freezer, very convenient and quick. Much prefer to chopping by hand so much parsley. Will try it for other things such as crumbling biscuits for cheesecake. Don't mind working in small batches. Would advise to read the manual before use because it took me a long time to figure out the lid fitting . Overall super happy that I kept it. Great price as well

Hands down my favorite helper in the kitchen. Has earned a permanent spot on the counter. Literally use it for everything … chops, mixes, grinds in only a few pulses. Just the right prep size for chopping onions, celery, carrots, peppers, apples, etc. Makes sauces and dressings in a flash. Grinds nuts and spices. Would even do coffee. You’ll love it. Best $$ I’ve spent!

The 4 cup is a nice addition to using the smaller one for small things, like a couple of cloves of garlic. With the 4 cup, I can chop half a large onion all at once, as well as other vegies (celery, chili peppers, carrots) without having to do them all in multiple batches. Easy to fit in the dishwasher. The lid did get stuck on it after a year and we are not sure why. I called customer service for replacement under the 18 month warranty and they said to first put it in the frig for 20 minutes to see if that helped. The chopper/grinder works well; however, it is a little different from the same Cuisinart chopper I used for many years. I noticed it is lighter weight which probably means more plastic. Perhaps that isn't all bad in that some parts of the heavier metal model showed rust unless thoroughtly dried after each use. Again, I have used it a half dozen times and it works well. I expect it to last as long as the first one did.
Purchased a 4 cup mini Cuisinart chopper to replace my original. I would recommend this product though it is the 3rd one have had owned. Getting a replacement blade has been the problem. They cost as much as a new machine and so I purchase a new one. I am an experienced cook, and use it primarily to chop onions, garlic, herbs, salad dressings, salsas etc. . It is much handier to use then taking out my big Cuisinart. Does make for a simple helper in the kitchen.
I’ve used this three times and each time the water overflows out the sides and the air hole. Hence the rice does not cook all the way. I had to take the lid off today and cook it.The steamer does work.I’ve used rice cookers for years. Measuring by hand and appliance.Regret buying such a small one.Too late to return. Maybe I could cook small amount in larger pot without it running over.
This is a great item all kitchen should have.I have a food processor but only use it a few times a year due to how much trouble it is to use.and clean and space to store . I have only had this chopper a month and used many times. It’s easy to use, clean and doesn’t use a lot of space. I have chopped crackers to bread meat, ham for ham salad andnuts, for cake. This chopper was also tested onthe show America Test Kitchen.
