This is my first mini food processor. I did a lot of homework on them but am disappointed with this one. It just doesn’t seem powerful enough to get ingredients ground enough to make things like hummus or thick sauces. They are still very chunky, not smooth or creamy. You have to hold the button down the whole time. The motor starts getting hot and stinking shortly after use. And the way the blades fit with the work bowl is wonky and makes emptying the bowl awkward and messy.I wanted something small, as an alternative to my larger Ninja, for small jobs, but this, so far, is not really living up to my needs. I have many Cuisinart appliances and this one is really disappointing.

We bought this chopper, as we always have had a small food processor on our counter since we married, and that’s a long time! Our “Little Oscar” broke and we thought we’d try another type, looking to increase the capacity just a bit more than our previous one. This was very similar to what we had and it fit the bill for a larger capacity while still remaining petite enough to keep out on the countertop. Its pulse action was quite efficient with strong power, and it does a great job at chopping vegetables, and also making pesto. It’s got a nice sleek appearance, which our previous one did not have and were very happy with this purchase! Good things come in small packages, and this is definitely one!

3-Cup Mini Chopper

I prefer the actual handle that was present on the older model, which made it easier to grasp, rather than the small tab of a handle that is on this newer model. With this model, I do feel the bowl and top are easier to lock into position. Don't know if the motor is more powerful, but I do know if I let the chopping function go too long when chopping onions, they will turn them to mush. I feel this is just a matter of getting used to the newer model and that fact that it chops faster than the older one. The small, plastic scraper, that came with the older model, does not come with this one. Fortunately, I saved my scraper from before.

Easy delicious meals just for 1 person.

This smaller mini chopper was purchased to make my life easier. It is the perfect addition for making smaller amounts of food. My larger one is for when I have company. But I needed one to use for 1 or 2 people to consume the meal. It is perfection. Easy to use and clean up. I dont hesitate to make delicious foods for dinner when it’s just me eating the meal.

Great Additional to my Kitchen

I have wanted a mini chopper for a while now. So glad I bought this unit. It is small and is just the right size for those small jobs. Washes up easily and takes up little space in my cupboard. Great purchase.

Great value for the product

Pros: Easy direction, easy to put it together and easy to use. I like the size, speed and color. Cons: It has only three options - to liqufy the products, to cut in thin round shapes and very small shreder shapes. It doesn't chop or does anything else besides these three options. I think it's overpriced, but overall good start to build on.

Greatest Little Chopper

I just replaced my 20 year old original Cuisinart 3-cup mini chopper. It still worked fine but I had cracked the plastic around the blade. I wouldn't be without one because it's so handy for salads, dips, etc. and was determined to find an exact replacement which I found at Kohl's. I would highly recommend this item.

Must Have Kitchen Helper

Much improved over the last Cuisinart Mini Chopper I had. Before I had to flip the blade on the spindle to switch from chop(the sharp blade) to grind(the flat blade). Now the new improved Mini Chopper has a one piece blade with a reversible motor for a more effortless switch between the two functions. Easier to clean and safer when handling the blade too.

This little workhorse is a must- have for every kitchen. It's perfect for small jobs. It's easier to use and clean than a full- size processor.My son had a condition that requiredhe eat food in very small pieces.
