We love this!!! The handle cracked and crumbled off of my last waffle maker, so we were in a bit of a pinch to find one made in a different fashion. We uses this about once per month and it makes the most perfectly sized waffles. The heat setting is the best part. I can adjust the dial to get that perfect golden brown based on my batter or add-ins. Look no further! This is your new waffle maker!

My son loves waffles, so I thought this Round Flip Belgian Waffle Maker by Cuisinart would be perfect. First let me say, this was my first experience using a waffle maker, so I am learning as I go.The directions were easy to understand, and I was happy to see it included several waffle recipes. Before using, I wiped the plate down with a damp cloth. There are 2 indicator lights on top, one says power, and the other says ready. I plugged up the waffle maker and the power light came on, so I waited for the ready light. Once I saw the ready light, I brushed a little bit of oil on the plates of the waffle maker. Then using the cup it comes with, I poured the mix in the center as indicated, and flipped it. Unfortunately, I over filled it and waffle mix oozed out the ... MoreMy son loves waffles, so I thought this Round Flip Belgian Waffle Maker by Cuisinart would be perfect. Thankfully, I had (what I call) the splatter plate beneath the maker. So there was no messy counter. I waited until the ready light came back on, and I knew it was done. I flipped it back, and we were ready to eat. The waffles were the best I have ever had. My son is in waffle heaven.Today, I made some chocolate waffles, and they turned out great! I am very, very happy with this waffle maker. I would definitely recommend!!

Our Belgian waffle maker stopped working so we bought this as a replacement. Reviews seemed ok and price was a lot a cheaper then our old waffle maker. When we opened the box everything appeared as a new item (things were "sealed") but my husband became suspicious after putting batter into the waffle maker. It never heated up and the cord appeared to have strange marks on it. Unfortunately since we opened the box we cannot return. This piece of crap went right into the garbage. Inspect before using!!

I received this Cuisinart - Round Flip Belgian Waffle Maker a few weeks ago and can't stop making waffles. I've always had a waffle maker, but it was kid size. So I'm in love with this one. It makes the perfect sized waffle vs having to eat multiple from my son's ninja turtle waffle maker lol. The instructions are easy to understand and there's no assembly necessary, other than placing the drip catcher. I also appreciate the nonstick surface as it makes the clean up waaaayyyy easier than any other waffle maker I've ever used. Although there is no noise that indicates it's ready, the ready green light is quite noticeable. That just helps for one to not leave it unattended. Oh yeah, I can't forget about the provided measuring cup. This is my second Cuisinart Waffle Maker. The only reason I needed a send was because I broke my other one, it was not a fault of the product. I knew I wanted to replace my waffle maker with another Cuisinart waffle maker because it is good quality and makes consistent, delicious waffles. My kids love the flipping feature and they gladly make waffles for the family.
Nice and compact griddle that works well for making waffles. The indentions in the waffles I make are deep for pooling the syrup, etc. I played with my griddle a few times to get just the right browning and found (4) to be a good setting for browning the waffles. I would agree from other reviewers the opening lid feels a little shaky, however, I have not had any issues. The scoop is definitely a handy tool that gives a great pour for making the perfect sized waffle.
The turning mechanism broke the second time I used it. I had owned it for just 9 days. I went to turn the waffle maker as designed (there are arrows telling which direction to turn) and it got stuck in the upside down position with the waffle in it. I am extremely disappointed as it looks like the plastic parts of the turning mechanism became misaligned. When I was finally able to get the iron to turn, a small piece of broken plastic fell out of the turning mechanism and it was not able to turn properly ever again. Thankfully I had my receipt and was able to return it to the store. Honestly, before the turning mechanism broke, I was extremely pleased by the waffles this maker turned out. We enjoyed making our own Belgian Waffle at the hotel we stayed past summer, and I was thinking about getting one for home use. It worked just like the one at the hotel, and the best part was we didn’t have to wait for other people to be done. We ordered the waffle mix that most used by restaurants and hotels through online. It is very easy to use and makes perfect fully Belgian Waffle in minutes! It is very easy to clean too. Highly recommend!
I used this to make some waffles for breakfast over the weekend. I used some box pancake mixed and followed the directions it made 4 waffles. The waffles are good size and the drip pan in under it is great although I never had any over flow. The size of the waffle make itself is good more compact than others. The handle is a little harder to turn than some I’ve used but it was designed different so no biggie. The only drawback to this waffle maker is even on the highest setting it doesn’t seem to brown them enough. The waffle would come apart when removing them. This is easily solved by leaving them in after light states it’s ready but be cautious to keep an eye on them as to not burn them. Overall I’m happy with the waffle maker and wouldn’t mind to get another one ... MoreI used this to make some waffles for breakfast over the weekend. The waffle iron works great! Can’t wait to try the recipes in the back of the manual. We used a recipe from a friend the first time. The batter was too dense, so we put them in the toaster oven. Otherwise, we’re very happy with the purchase. It’s like we have the same waffle irons that are used at hotels with their complimentary breakfast service.
