I love everything about this small saucepan and it's perfect for what I need, for making sauces or things of small amount. My other stainless steel saucepan was too big, even though it was small and this is the perfect size. It's well designed and built and fits my needs perfectly. Love that it's stainless steel and doesn't have a non-stick coating where you have to be extra careful not to scratch it. That's why I have switched all my saucepans to stainless steel. It's a nice, sturdy, a bit heavy for it's size, saucepan. It heats well. Washes well. I haven't burned anything in it, but I'm sure if I do, I'll just use a stainless steel pad to scrub out the burnt stuff. Very happy with this purchase.

This pan is great for so many things. Being single and needing a pan small enough for one. I knew I couldn't go wrong. Cuisinart has always made excellent products and thing being my first pan, I definitely was not disappointed. I look forward to purchasing more.

This pot is a great build, size and quality . It is what you would expect with a heavy solid bottom and firm rivets. My only complaint or improvements would be a better pullout siding and a handle that does not get a thin or pointed. It can feel sharp at the edge

I loved the cookware but your use instructions need revising. Most reviews I read before I purchased the Cuisinart at the recommendation of my daughter-in-law who is a gourmet cook were positive. But the negative showed discoloration and pitting. Your instructions advised using a lower heat, but did not mention the damage that salt could do or the way to avoid pitting. Because both of the one quart saucepans had slight pitting after cooking rice, I concluded that I needed to return all pieces I had bought. If I waited, I would have had to also pay shipping to return them. I wound up purchasing All-Clad and their instructions specifically included the caution of adding salt. I could have saved myself hundreds of dollars if your instructions addressed that issue. ... MoreI loved the cookware but your use instructions need revising. We love these pans... have the complete set plus 2- 1Qt and 2- 1.5Qt pans. The only reason for a "4" rating is because of the lids. Where the glass meets the metal on the underside, liquids and small particles collect, even when washed in the dishwasher. You can see it on the outer side. Much prefer metal lids. Other than that they're great... heat evenly, don't stick, clean easily and wear well... and the lids do fit well.
Need a deep saucepan for boiling eggs. Have been boiling them in a large saucepan but it takes a lot of water and time. This saucepan was on sale so I read the description carefully and it said the depth was 5.3". Crazy me thought that was the depth of the actual cooking space. Wouldn't most people? But no, it is the depth measured from the HANDLE to the counter top! Maybe someone needs to know that measurement but it has absolutely nothing to do with cooking anything. Returned it today.
I bought from Macy’s just to boil water. After a few days it had spots in the bottom of the pot. I called Macy’s and they wanted me to return it and it was discontinued. I ordered from Amazon. When it arrived, a piece of metal was rattling in the bottom but I kept it. The very next day I left water boiling and scorched the pot. I feel like I’m jinx when it comes to this pot. It’s exactly the size and look I want. Very upset about the outcome.
This little one quart sauce pan is just what I was looking for. Perfect for a single serving of soup or oatmeal, poaching two eggs or cooking up two servings of veggies. It is only one quart at the brim. So if you fill it halfway that's only a lint or 2 cups. It holds heat really well a d cleans up easy. Stainless steel can discolor, and that's why they make "Barkeeper's Friend." I would buy this product again.

Fluff the rice with a fork before serving
This is simply the best saucepan I have ever owned! The finish is so smooth and so easy to keep clean. The lid fits perfectly no drips or spills even at a rolling boil. The thickness of its base allows for even heating with no hot spots or curdling with cream based sauces. I recommend this to all my friends and family!
