I really like this product — although its early days in its use. The lid does not catch fully and needs to be pressed firmly. So far the rice I've cooked seems a little dry; and I keep forgetting the cup measurement is smaller that a true cup measure but with use this will become second nature and Cuisinart mention this in their brochure. The little "helper" slotted in the back of the machine is great — what an innovative inclusion. Although the steamer insertion is very usful it has no handles or other mechanism to seperate so is difficult to extract from the main cooking bowl.The saute function is fab as is the "keep warm". Compared to my friend's rice cookers its terrific, but "pricey". I’d love to be able to rate this item but as PoK sent the wrong product I can’t. Apart from having to repackage the errant item, tape it up and drive it to the post office, PoK won’t send me my ordered (and paid for) item until they get this one back. That item was delivered to PoK two days ago and I have heard nothing since. Service?

Still trying to learn how to use it, of course it is Multi cooker, it was cheap price at discount. It remains to be seen how durable it is as well as how well in will come out in multiple dishes. It's an unknown brand to me yet. I have only tried the few basic a few times. It lacks delayed function. Don't know if it will hold up with the way I use by it.
I have found this product to be a fabulous all round cooker for soups, curries all sorts of one pot meals as well as cooking perfect rice, sushi etc
This rice cooker cooks rice beautifully, takes around 40 minutes for a large portion of white rice, perfect every time and lots of options, much nicer than a cheap rice cooker. Easy to clean
I am a huge fan of this brand and have used many of their appliance and cookware in the past hence I decided to order this. First time I used this was when I cooked rice which turned out perfect. After 3 uses, I noticed the bottom of the inner cooking pot started to peel and after 8 months of use the peeling was enormous. I've always handwashed this with gentle soap and sponge but it appears the ring when the inner pot touches was too rough and sharp causing the friction but not sure how it peels given it is stationary when cooking. Also it is poorly constructed-the top lid where steam is coming out, the rice water/bubble overflows all over everytime when cooking rice even for a small cup of rice. hence it is always messy whenever I use it. disappointed.
I have only had the cooker a couple of weeks and was too busy to begin experimenting before the request for review came up. So far, so good. Saut function works well. Customer service from the Good Guys in price matching and affordable postage, prompt communication it was on back order etc excellent, really appreciated.
Easy to use and easy to clean. Steams simply & versatile for more than just rice
I bought this from David Jones a week ago. Tried it today, it’s so disappointing because the steamed water will sprinkle everywhere when cooking rice. Never experienced this using other rice cooker!
