CURASEPT 0.12% Mouth Rinse (ADS212) 200ml is the mid strength rinse with 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate, making it suitable for the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis. It's also used in preparation for chemo and radiation therapy, which weakens the immune system and thus the oral defence mechanism. Dentistry without chlorhexidine is unthinkable, the excellent antibacterial properties plus very high substantivity means that it stays where it is carries on working in the mouth for longer. Curasept contains no alcohol, does not stain your teeth, gums or tongue and you will still be able to taste your food. It protects irritated gums, protects against bacterial plaque has a pleasant taste and respects the natural white of teeth. Can be used for up to 6 weeks non-stop use. Rinse 10ml twice per day for one minute. If still needed after six weeks, take one week's break and then repeat the process. Do not drink black coffee, tea or red wine for 30 minutes after use. Use Curasept Gel or Toothpaste in conjunction with your Curasept mouthwash. These do not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), a detergent-like substance which will wash out the chlorhexidine in your mouthwash. SLS is used in most common toothpastes.
