I have used the Braun Sill-Expert Pro5 for 4 weeks (followed instructions exactly). Exactly at the 4 week mark I noticed a significant reduction in hair regrowth on my legs and underarms. Will continue to use. I also bought some cheap polarised sunglasses to wear while using the machine for extra eyw protection. The price has been worthwhile for me so far... way less pain that I have experienced with other hair removal devices.

I am finding it is going well so far, noticing the hair on my legs are thinning out and patchy. The photos attached are of my leg and armpit and I am due for a session tomorrow so this is almost a full weeks worth of hair growth. Less itching with regrowth. I have been shaving every Saturday and doing a session and then not shaving throughout the week so I can see what the growth rate it like and I can tell a difference. I highly recommend getting sun glasses so you can see where you are going when doing it on your legs to ensure you get full coverage. Also always check the sensitivity before doing your bikini line, accidentally changed it to the highest setting and got quite the surprise. Invest in a good moisturiser for afterwards. I used the Braun Silk Expert 5 continuously past the 10 week mark, did 13 weeks.Yet the same result.I have fine black hair, and I have olive colored skin - not dark, not fair.I would meticulously shave the night before, use the Braun the next morning, as per correct directions. By the fourth day, my hair was growing back again !!! By the end of the week, it was definitely time for a shave. I went beyond the 10 week period to just make sure, and, Viola ! -IT DOESN'T WORK. I might have shaved or used hair removal cream !

I have tried a few at home devices on the market. I was hoping this would be the best as it is says it is.. unfortunately I found this device to be extremely time consuming the first few months with not great results for the amount of time you are investing into doing it. It’s not very powerful. I have the tria diode laser and had way better results in a shorter space of time( the device is very small so not ideal for full body)The positives are that it is super easy to use and mostly pain free.. but for the price point I was expecting better results and I am frustrated also with the marketing and branding of this device, I feel it is misleading.
A very easy to use, and manageable device. Lightweight with an attractive design. I’m really happy with the results as having polycystic ovarian syndrome- which is a hormonal imbalance. It can be frustrating finding a hair removal device that works. I’ve tried several different treatments waxing, sugaring, hair removal cram and plucking. You have to keep on top of it and you get nasty ingrown hairs. The great thing with this Laser device is you shave 24 hours before and then use it within the comfort of your own home. And carry on with your day. So, tell me what could be better than that??
I haven’t used this yet for the full recommended amount of time but after 5 weeks I am starting to see fewer hairs growing back. I chose this because I wanted an actual laser device as I have read results last much longer. It’s a quick treatment and easy to use. Will come back with results after 12 weeks

It’s only once a week and easy to use and feels good because of vibration and a heating effect that allows you to really feel that it’s working on cellulite. I give four star review because I only done 4 times but I am already seeing changes in my skin texture which is smoother now. I am not using it on my buttocks because I don’t want too loose fat there. It’s coming with a gel which is very nice but too expensive so might use instead ultrasound gel. For me, the laser is MUCH less painful and much quicker (15 mins to do both legs). I can use it easily on the highest intensity. It is more painful on areas with thicker hair but still very easily bearable.I have used it for 5 weeks now on my arms, legs and armpits. What I have noticed just this last week, is that the hair is growing back patchy on my arms and legs- I don’t notice a change with my armpits yet. If you have longer hair, it’s going to hurt more. It’s also suggested you don’t use waxing or epilators prior to laser because it works but detecting dark color on light color. So if you get rid of the hair from the root there is nothing for it to detect.The pain kind of feels like the area getting hot. It does not last longer than a second. I did not experience any redness or swelling afterwards.I have eczema on some areas and this has not impacted it negatively. I think there are cautions on the instructions with regards to skin conditions, so if you have severe skin redness/ eczema etc read that part carefully.The downsides for me are:1- It’s crazy bright. Even with sunnies on. I tend to look away.2- as a safety feature the two sides of the head attachment need to be touching your skin so it doesn’t randomly flash into air etc. however what I find is sometimes it is hard to touch it flush to skin on some areas such as around the ankle, elbow, or generally thinner parts of the body. I recommend you spend a tiny bit more and get a second attachment head in a smaller size.Overall so far I think this has been a good investment for me. I am seeing progress, it’s not too painful. So I am happy! If you can spend the $$$ I think it’s so worth it.
Purchased for myself ( I have had laser previously on both bikini and underarms and needed a touch up). I wanted to begin hair removal on my legs. Also invested in this item for my daughter (14 years old). My husband has also been using the hair removal device for stray hairs on his back. Therefore the purchase of the Braun Silk Exper Pro-5 is very economical as compared to visiting a salon. My daughter says she has noticed after 4 weeks a decrease in hair growth on her legs and so have I. Pleased with the results thus far. I operate it on level 3 as does my daughter for underarms and legs. Level 2 for the bikini line. Would highly recommend this product.
