This product has made it able for me to enjoy a steak dinner without constantly thinking about my teeth.I use this on my lower full denture only, and use a powder on my upper full denture. Technically the bottom denture is not a full one because I still have one real tooth left in my mouth - the bottom left wisdom tooth! If I had any real wisdom though, I probably wouldn’t have false teeth, but that’s another story, and at age 76 this is probably as wise as I’ll get. So ... back to the review.PROS: 1. Does not dissolve, even when brushing. 2. Easy to apply. 3. Excellent instructions. 4. Lasts at least 4 days and I’ve left it on for up to 7 days. 5. Forms a perfect match to the gum it is placed on. CONS: 1. And only one this stuff is a PITA to remove! The instructions state to soak the denture in hot water for 10 minutes then peel away. Sounds easy ... just peel away -trust me, its not that easy. It takes me the better part of an hour to remove and replace this, along with several hot water soakings and a few spoken expletives along the way. Maybe I’ll get better with the removal process over time but I doubt it.Oh, and BTW, I use a paste denture adhesive along with this because Cushion Grip is not an adhesive, it is a pliable thermoplastic that makes the denture a much better fit. There definitely is a learning curve with this. Think less, not more, when considering how much to use. Be sure to spread it along the full groove of the denture. After the first couple of uses you will begin to know which parts of the denture need more or less Cushion Grip. So, bottom line, I give this 5 stars overall even though I gave it just 2 stars for removability because the end result has been the ability to eat what I want without worrying about my teeth. I’m going to experiment a little to see if I can find a way to make removal easier and will update this if I’m successful. Good Luck and bon apetite!

Great stuff, makes dentures fit better.3 for Adhesion because while it makes a form fit, it is not an adhesive. It relies on a good fit and suction. After soaking in hot water and peeling off what you can, after messing around with dental picks put denture in closed jar, drip some acetone on the film. IN 5 minute scrub off. Acetone evaporates so timing is important. Repeat as needed.July 27. Apparently my complaints finally reached the right person. Here is their reply:We have received a response from our Scientific department regarding your questions.Cushion Grip consists of roughly 20% to 30% Ethyl Alcohol and some other proprietary ingredients. We cannot recommend using Acetone to clean the residue of Cushion Grip from your dentures due to concerns of damaging your dentures, but if you do use this procedure please make sure to rinse you dentures thoroughly afterward with water to prevent damage. If water does not fully remove the product you could also try a drinking Alcohol, the higher the proof the better, which should also help to dissolve the product.

My 10 year old partial needs replacing -- it has a loose fit and one of the teeth thankfully not easy to see recently broke in half in an odd way that contributes to making that side a bit wobbly -- but I have more important things to do with a 1000 at the moment. Yet, it was interfering with my ability to eat properly. So I gave this product a try to hopefully help provide a firmer, more comfortable fit.It works beautifully! As a matter of fact I wish I had discovered it years ago using it probably would have helped keep my partial in better shape. It is very easy to use and doesnt take much to do the job. In fact I recommend being a little conservative when you first try it because a small amount will spread out in a thin but effective layer as you press down on it ... MoreMy 10 year old partial needs replacing -- it has a loose fit and one of the teeth thankfully not easy to see recently broke in half in an odd way that contributes to making that side a bit wobbly -- but I have more important things to do with a 1000 at the moment. In fact I recommend being a little conservative when you first try it because a small amount will spread out in a thin but effective layer as you press down on it to make a firm grip when you first put on the partial or denture. My partial replaces several lower front teeth and a molar lost after many bouts of chemo over a decade ago. So, while I do have natural teeth to anchor it, it still covers a very significant part of my mouth. The fit I get with the usual denture creams, strips, etc. cant even begin to compare to this. It is incredibly secure and very comfortable. I dont feel like Im wearing a dental appliance at all. And I have had no trouble with anything I want to eat.The product information suggests you could wear your dentures for several days with this product. I dont doubt that -- it really is secure. But I havent tried it. I remove and clean my partial every night. Removing the Crystal Grip is easy and quick. Heating it in hot water and reapplying it again in the morning has just become part of my morning teeth care routine and doesnt add any real time to the processIve purchased it twice now and will continue to purchase it -- even after replacing this partial.I highly recommend it .

I just happened to come across cushion grip when I was at my last straw being a new denture wearer.I have permanent dentures with only 1 realignthanks aspen dental. The fixodent literally burned and pulled skin off my mouth making it impossible to wear the dentures. I tried den-sur-fit, again to no avail. I thought it would never come out completely, and I was positive little tiny pieces would cause mouth pain forever. I wasn’t able to wear my dentures at all and I had just had my teeth pulled. I went months without being able to put them in they were too big and damaging my gums. Then I somehow came across cushion grip and thought I’d try 1 more time. I did and it is fantastic!! It’s simple and easy to apply, no painful skin removal daily without providing a soft surface, easy 1 movement removal completely clean removal at that, so comfortable you’ll almost for a split second forget they are dentures, apply and change every 4 days not daily and you still clean as usual. This product is honestly what saved me from putting my dentures in a drawer forever because they said they were permanent and couldn’t be relined . Cushion grip is also affordable. I hope anyone out there that needs an adhesive or a more snug fit to their dentures stumbled across cushion grip as I did and buys it and it changes their dentures experience as much as it has mine. I use this product daily and now have it on auto ship monthly. Yes, it’s that good. Keep smiling keep eating keep comfortable wear cushion grip.

The questions asked about Cushion Grip dont really do it justice. Its not really an adhesive, but what it does do is fill in the gaps where the denture doesnt quite fit right. On my upper, the fit is just a little bit off, and they dont hold in place. I use Cushion Grip. It fills in the gaps. What that does is allow the denture to create a suction again and it sticks in place. My bottom denture is a little worse. I cant always get the best suction, even with the Cushion Grip. What it does here, and on the upper, is provide a cushion between my denture and gums. The fit is much better on both than without it.Personally, I dont use any other adhesive with it. I guess some people find that they need a little more grip. I dont. They can move around a little, depending upon what I am eating, but I can eat almost anything because of the cushion it provides. There can be a bit of a learning curve with the process, but be patient. I experiment with it a little more here. A little less there. But I have got a pretty good idea of what needs to go where, and it works for me.It can be a bit of a task removing it when it comes to changing it for a new lining of it, but if you put it in hot water for 10 minutes or so, it makes it much easier to peel off of the denture. Not sure about the flavor? Its not bad, and almost non-existent to my. Maybe, a bit of a vague fruity flavor? All in all, Im so glad that I found this product. I dont use anything else. Its not a perfect solution, but it is like a new reline every week or so.Edit-2/09/2020I just realized how much my review looks like a repeat of the sales pitch. I suppose its because its really the way it is.I just purchased 3 more tubes. This should last me a good long time.Im just SO glad that I didnt have to use any goo for any real period of time.Cushion Grip was an amazing find!

I had 20 teeth extracted 12 days ago, 4 of which were infected. My swelling went down remarkably, so my immediate dentures became very loose and were flopping around uncontrollably when I was trying to talk and eating was impossible. This loose fit caused unbearable sores and blisters. My dentist advised me to use adhesives to keep them from constantly rubbing against my gums. I still have open sockets at the sites of the teeth that were infected, and the adhesives were difficult and painful to remove from my tender gums, as well as having to remove them after every meal. A woman in a Facebook group was concerned that I might cause more infection by filling those spots with adhesives, and someone else suggested I try this. A woman in a Facebook group was concerned that I might cause more infection by filling those spots with adhesives, and someone else suggested I try this. Its not an adhesive in the sense that most of us think it would be. I bought 2 tubes because the reviews made it look like a complicated process, and I was planning on the first tube being a waste as I learned how to apply it. I was right. I have 1/4 of that first tube left and i finally got it figured out I think. I followed a suggestion to take a tiny ball of cushion grip after heating the tube in really hot water and roll it in my hands to make a snake like you did with playdoh when you were a kid. Then I put that into my dentures, up against the outside part of the teeth. I squished it down around the edge so it would wrap around my gums. Then I put it directly in my mouth and closed my teeth together. Not biting down hard, just closed my mouth to where my jaw was comfortable and my teeth felt like they were in the right place. I started with my lower, so I had my uppers in, without adhesive. I held it like that with my tongue while I did the little snake for the upper. I did the same thing pretty quickly and also put a thin layer across the back so I could still have a seal. When I had it in the right spot I put the top in and held my teeth together for about 5 minutes. You dont want to bite hard like youre chewing! After 5 minutes I.

Amazing Product

I absolutely swear by this stuff for dentures. i had to buy some small tools seperately as my fingers arent small enough to get where i need to spread the thermoplastic, but it is cushion feeling to the gums and you can brysh and clean your dentures with it on. The package says 4 days, but honestly I can keep it on for 2 weeks before needing to change cuchion again. it is well worth the buy just to try it out, but I recommend this to everyone i meet who has dentures. i can eat food comfortably, drink comfortably, talk comfortably. i sometimes forget my dentures are in and go to sleep in them.

Game Changer

Nobody with dentures, partials, and bridges want to talk about how uncomfortable and sometimes painful, a hassle to apply glue for them to still pop out, gagging you with too much glue, getting stuck, causing slime in the back of your throat, having them not stay in place while sitting down in a restaurant and rushing to the restroom to rinse. Straight up embarrassing ....ect I just went from powder, that worked better than the pink glue to Cushion Grip.Bro....this stuff is a game changer! It was $9.99 on Amazon, took 10 minutes to easily apply. As soon as I put them in, they literally felt like a cushion! They are supposed to last 4 days and you can brush them like normal. I'll keep you posted as this is my first day. I wish someone would have told me about it ... MoreNobody with dentures, partials, and bridges want to talk about how uncomfortable and sometimes painful, a hassle to apply glue for them to still pop out, gagging you with too much glue, getting stuck, causing slime in the back of your throat, having them not stay in place while sitting down in a restaurant and rushing to the restroom to rinse. I never thought I would give a review on a denture product, but here we are. 🤣🤣🤣⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was great to feel snug dentures for a change.

I liked the snug fit that it gave my dentures , but as you chew it oozes out. Using adhesive was a must even though it says you don’t need it. And it did not last 4 days like it advertised, at least for me it didn’t. The 1oz. tube is small and goes fast if you have to reapply daily. This product is definitely worth it if you have been struggling with loose fitting dentures. I would purchase this again.

I found this stuff about 45 years ago after I had tried everything on the market and HATED each and every one of the others . I felt so discouraged when they stopped making cushion grip and realized nothing else on the market had changed. My daughter in law found cushion grip online at Walmart and came running to show to me , I was so happy to see it back I cried. I wasted no time in ordering ( literally about 10 minutes) . I was so surprised to see so many negative reviews because this stuff has played such a huge part in my denture wearing years (about 45 years) and my adjustment to new plates each time I get them.I noticed a lot of negative to the fact it’s hard to get out of the tube and it is but I’ve learned over time to put a cup of water in microwave and ... MoreI found this stuff about 45 years ago after I had tried everything on the market and HATED each and every one of the others . Set tube into cup and let sit a couple of minutes, hold with a towel because it’s hot and use the towel to turn the key until desired amount is out then just tear or cut loose. Works like a dream .The only complaint I have is the way this product is presented as an adhesive. It really is more of a cushioned liner . You still have to use your suction to hold your dentures in, but cushion grip gives you softer gum protection and less movement..I hope this helps some of the negative reactions because ill fitting dentures, and gum sores caused from scraping and moving can effect a persons entire life.I have always and will continue to recommend Cushion Grip to any/everyone wearing dentures.
