We bought both the 1.5 seater and 2 seater versions of this couch. The 1.5 is absolutely incredible, I've spent houuuuuuurs in this cosy chair just reading books, watching movies, and living my best life. This chair is my new best friend. I am obsessed. I've also given it a test run for sleeping and it did the job well! Unfortunately, we've decided to return the 2 seater version. While it made a very comfortable bed, the lack of support in the middle means it's not a great couch to sit on – we constantly felt like we were sinking towards the middle. I think the 1.5 doesn't have this problem because it's not as wide. I don't normally put up negative reviews, however I wanted to share my honest thoughts about this product. The couch does not maintain form and therefore loses back support despite assembly as per instructions. This is not a comfortable couch. Koala has promising reviews and I really expected much better. The only nice thing about this couch is the material. I also bought the matching ottoman which is a great size and offers storage as it has a lid. However, the lid is always sliding off as it is poorly designed. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing koala products again because of this experience.

Had for 2 years now and the worst furniture decision we have ever made. Within 6 months the main couch cushion started sliding forward. After 18 months the couch slips forward to the point the head rest is flat on the bottom fold within a day. Would be bearable for a spare bedroom not hardy enough for two adults to use a few hours a day. Can only imagine if you had kids. Looks great initially but function and longevity 1/10.

We decided to add the ottoman to our two Cushy sofa Beds which make up our loungeroom. Makes for great movie viewing on weekends. The Ottoman is now not only adding to our cosy experience by allowing us to put our feet up, but it stores our throw rugs. We are loving our addition to our extra cosy and cushy lounging experience. Would highly recommend not only the Ottoman but the Cushy Sofa Bed as well.
Having had this couch now for a year, I think I can give a better assessment than I would have about 100 days in. This thing starts out great, but then it becomes awful.The guts of this couch spill out more than a MAMIL who’s two decades past their prime. You can try pushing the main cushion back in over and over, but sit in just the wrong place and again, you get pushed forward and your whole couch is in an awkwardly downward sloped position. It’s like the thing is kicking you off.My partner and I routinely roll this couch out into the bed position for lazy movie nights, which were also nice at first - but I wouldn’t count on any guests getting a good night’s sleep on this. I am so impressed with this sofa bed and it is actually my favourite pieces of furniture in my house! The quality is great, it is easy to put together, I convert it into a bed almost every night because it’s so easy and I love to watch movies from “bed”.However, I do experience an issue where, unless I am nestled at the very back of the sofa, it loses lost its structure and slides forward/compresses too much. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it were a secondary sofa but this is my main sofa and sometimes this issue is uncomfortable for guests who are less mobile and can’t scoot all the way to the back of the couch.I do love the product but if I was looking again for a sofa bed as my main couch, I would consider one of Koala’s other products next time :)
I've had this sofa for almost 2 years now.Things I love:- colour (ink). It's so hard to find blue sofas that don't look dated but this colour is perfect!- the delivery and set up process - so good for apartment living.Things I don't love:- the seat of the sofa constantly falls forward so you're sitting at a slanted angle. This has only gotten worse the longer I've had the sofa.- seat doesn't feel very deep. With the back pillows on, it doesn't feel like a good sofa for getting comfy to watch a movie or read a book.- the sides/armrests are awkward - too low to rest arms on comfortably and definitely too low to sit up against if you're lounging on sofa.
