The quality of the handle and head is very good. It has the benefits of being lightweight like an axe and the splitting angles of a block splitter. The only downside is that there is no handle protector near the head. If you are accurate with your swings it will last a long time.

The quality of the handle and head is very good. It has the benefits of being lightweight like an axe and the splitting angles of a block splitter. The only downside is that there is no handle protector near the head. If you are accurate with your swings it will last a long time.
Its lasted 30 hits, less than 20 minutes work. Handle has cracked and the edge has broken off.
I purchased this about a year ago for splitting kindling for my pizza oven, and I've been using it recently to split eucalyptus rounds from a tree removal. Great job so far and I would purchase another.

I bought this and used it under 5 times. The handle broke and the splitter rendered useless.
Handle failed after 45 minutes.
Great splitter very comfortable easy to use. Old splitter handle broke after 10 years of use and the supersplitter is just great. Click and collect was so easy and convenient. Thanks Bunnings
