I would highly recommend Dr. Squatch products to anyone. Their shampoo leaves my hair and scalp feeling fresh without being dried out. This particular product is not overtly fragrant, which is a welcome change to regular brand name detergents. My only complaint is that, as a scent, cypress coast is not for me because I prefer more fall or winter themed smells like oak and pine. Overall, I give this product two thumbs up and I look forward to trying out more Dr. Sqautch products.

Wish I could give 3.5 but I really liked the shampoo. It really gets the grease out of my hair and eliminates odor. Obviously the natural ingredients are a plus. Just wish it gave more of a strong sent after a wash. Don't get me wrong, odor is completely gone but it just doesn't smell too strongly scented. More like perfectly clean but a light sent. It also smells weird out the bottle but perfectly fine once applied. You will not allow me to review another product which makes me want to lower my rating.

A baby shower gift for men/ the missing shampoo

I ordered 12 bars of soap as a gift for all the men at the friends and family baby shower we had for my son and his wife. Most of the men never heard of your brand of soap but they absolutely loved the smell. They were hooked! My husbands shampoo was also ordered at the same time as the party favors for the baby shower and was unfortunately overlooked when packaging. I wrote to your company explaining what happened. You sent me the missing bottle the following week. Thank you so much for a wonderful product and for taking care of your customers and soon to be new customers from our baby shower.!

Came for the bars

I mostly got the hair care kit to get free shipping the first time around, but I can genuinely not imagine myself ever wanting another shampoo again. The conditioner is great too, but it was truly shocking how incredible the shampoo smells. Seriously Dr. Squatch, please make a cologne that smells just like this.Not to mention, you really feel it doing several days worth of work each time you use it. The most noticeable effect is how strong it makes your hair. Like, as you rub it in you feel your strands get tighter, and the increased fullness is noticeable as soon as your hair dries too. I just honestly hope they make a cypress coast cologne so I can smell like this every day, and more strongly!

Not so great ..

I was really excited to try the shampoo because the soaps are nice but the shampoo is the opposite to that. first things first i have long hair, not to long but if medium hair makes sense well go with that. So the shampoo right of the bat has like a pine smell to it when you use it. Its not the ocean breeze it says in the description and its horrible for long hair. The lather is not good at all. There''s suds but it does not have that soapy feel. Over priced

I am a huge fan of the soap, so I was excited to give the shampoo and conditioner a try. The product works well, but is overpriced for the amount of shampoo and conditioner that you are given. The shampoo is mostly tea tree oil, that you can buy for much cheaper. The product might work for men with shorter hair, but due to the current pandemic, my hair has longer than normal and the recommended amount does not lather up my hair like the advertisement video show- I need three times the amount recommended to get that type of lather. The video has a man with hair much longer than my hair currently. It is only recommended that you use the shampoo two or three times a week max making the product last longer. Over-priced and under-performing

Have to use half the bottle to get any kind of a wash or suds going (an over-exaggeration, but you get the point). It’s a very tiny bottle, you have to use a lot, and it’s expensive for what it is.This dries out my hair and leaves it feeling thin, rough and stringy. it’s really not what I’m looking for out of a shampoo, feels like it’s doing more damage than good.The scent isn’t bad, but I was hoping for a little more salt/ocean breeze, it’s pretty exclusively pine and feels like I’m out camping. Which isn’t a bad smell, just not what’s being advertised…you’d expect a little more “coast” mixed in, and it’s not there.

Skeptical consumer turned Satisfied and now dedicated customer!

It has been a struggle to find a shampoo that helps with my dry scalp. After finding one, it worked for a long time, but then the salons that made them started to close the stores, so this made it more difficult to get. One of the bigger issues I have had is when it comes to understanding the ingredients used in the things I use to "clean" myself. It seemed harder to understand and yet harder to find one where I can rest assured that the stuff I use to clean and care for my exterior was as important as I know what I put into my body.I love the scent, and since I have been using this, I have not had any scalp issues, my hair feels stronger. I am very thankful to you Dr. Squatch!!!!

Smells like pizza sauce

Doesn’t smell like forest. It smells like a MOD Pizza store at the coast. Smells so much like pizza sauce. In a nice a way. You should rename it “pizza coast.” Makes my hair very silky. It takes about twice the recommended amount for my 3ft of hair. It’s expensive for the small amount you get. 1 bottle = maybe 2 months. Buy it on discount first before paying full price for it.Dr Squatch shipping & processing is so bad the result is almost not worth the quality of product. Their customer service falls flat. You have to harass them yourself via email like you’re the supervisor of shipping & processing.

Straight up legit!

This is product is legit. Unfortunately, my scalp gets dry and flakey and can leave flakes on my shoulders when I brush my hair. I’ve been using this shampoo 2 to 3 times a week and at my last haircut, no flakes. The scent is good without being overpowering. Love this product
