Good Value String, half the price of the European Double Bass Strings, like the colour coding system. The Hybrids are a good compromise between Pizz and Arco use. Found them to be a bit more mellow than Tomastic Spirocore. Would recommend.

I changed the light strings fitted to my Yamaha SLB 300 to medium for D and G, the originals were a bit skinny in sound and feel. Delighted with the result.

The strings were easy to order, arrived quickly and sound fantastic. Great "growl", even tone throughout the fingerboard. Love em. They were just what I was hoping. I won't be buying anything else.

Med = Way high tension
The was string is installed on an instrument called the Whamola. The string is constantly under stress by a lever applying max tention and relief to created a unique sound effect. Most strings can not hold up to this punishment. Here's a product that performs great having been used for many hours now.
