Recently switched to these Total 1 lens with water gradient. I have been using daily disposables for a very longtime and tried Coopervision Aqualens (Silicone hydrogels) last year which was a major improvement for dry eyes. These Total 1 dailies are even more comfortable to wear.

Recently switched to these Total 1 lens with water gradient. I have been using daily disposables for a very longtime and tried Coopervision Aqualens (Silicone hydrogels) last year which was a major improvement for dry eyes. These Total 1 dailies are even more comfortable to wear.

Love these lenses. I have chronic severe dry eye syndrome, and my doctor and I went through about a dozen different kinds before finally discovering these. With every other lens I tried, literally as soon as I put them in, my eyes were already irritated. It was always just a game of how long I could tolerate the irritation/pain, and I could rarely stand more than a few hours. With these, I genuinely forget that I even have them in. And I love the convenience and the superior hygiene of being able to just throw them out once I've worn them, instead of the constant cleaning routine. Super satisfied customer! :)
I've tried so many different lenses for hydration and air, and these are the best. They never rip or tear when putting them in, and they don't irritate my eyes. Unfortunately they have increased in price so much over the years, but I haven't found a good enough alternative.
: After nearly 30 years of wearing B&L Sequence 38/Softlens 38 for distance, my vision changed so that it was struggling to read up close with contact lenses in my eyes. My Optometrist suggested I try Alcon Dailies Total 1. The Total 1's have a much deeper 'bowl' as compared to the Softlens which were more shallow. Vision up close is very good and I'm able to read text as small as 6pt font fairly comfortably, where that was impossible with my old contact lenses, however my distance vision is not perfect; seeming to improve a bit when I tilt my head forward and look straight ahead. My optometrist told me there may be some compromise with the Total 1's as compared to a single vision contact lens. I'm still in the trial phase; this being my 3rd day wearing Total 1. ... : I am about 2 years late to the party for these lenses but am glad that my doctor suggested these. They are insanely comfortable. I can wear them for 12-13 hours and still never feel them in my eyes. I wore the old Ciba Focus Dailies and would often have some sort of irritation. With these I feel nothing. This is truly amazing and long overdue. I ordered from Lens.com because they had the best price. Some users on You Tube said they have problems removing the lenses but I haven't experienced any difficulties. Love them!
: I have tried many lenses over the years that range from monthlies to dailies and these have to be one of the best right up there next to Acuvue Daily True Eye. I can put them in first thing in the morning and know they will not bother me all day through the night. I have dry eyes and monthlies have always given me problems. These allow your eyes to breath so you don't have that horrible feeling of thinking you have an eye lash in your eye all day. Only downfalls would be that they are pretty expensive compared to other dailies and are tough to get out sometimes due to the thinness and hold they have on your eye. Other than that they do not disappoint.
