This a great moisturiser with SPF50! It doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin, it goes on very smoothly, it’s very hydrating and I do love the soft glow on my skin.I read some reviews that it migrates on to the eyes which it’s not the case except if you are applying the product the wrong way but definitely it’s not migrating in the eyes and I do apply it on top of my eyelids and under my eyes.Also some reviews say that it’s greasy?? Again I don’t find it greasy at all! I love the soft glow and personally I want to not have a glow on my face!! It’s youthful. My skin it’s normal so for me it works! Love it so much!

I like this moisturiser and use it daily. It took a while to get used to as I previously used a 15+ moisturiser that was so smooth to glide on. But now this is my go to. I mix it with my foundation to keep the overall coverage a bit thinner but together that works great. Both have SPF factor so I know I’m protected.

For context, I have slightly oily and light yellow toned skin. I would not recommend this product for people with combo or oily skin - when I put it this product on, I need to use 2-3 oil blotting papers to make my skin less oily and shiny. With that said, it is very hydrating indeed (leaves my skin soft), and I would recommend it for more mature, dry skin as the oils will likely sink into these skin types more (rather than sitting like a slick on top for those with more oily skin). Because the product is so oily, it doesn't leave a white cast and blends into any skin colour well.

QVC's presenter Alison was raving about their Liquid Gold and I decided to give it a go. I was a little worried as any new skincare always brings me out in spots and I didn't want my rosacea to flare up.I needn't have worried, with the first application of Liquid Gold the next morning my face looked different and after only 3 days all of my rosacea has gone and day by day my pores are disappearing. I've gone on to buy their moisturisers, SPF and the overnight peel. I have tried it several times and have not enjoyed it at all.The product has a reasonable consistency being a little thicker than my normal moisturiser but the oiliness is apparent immediately. I hoped that with rubbing it in and giving it time to absorb it would get better... It didn't. My face looked greasy all day and anytime anything brushed against it, the oil would transfer there also.It also didn't feel hydrating or moisturising at all. My skin felt dry underneath the greasiness and after washing my face the evenings I used it, I felt tighter and dehydrated which is not normal for me. I use this daily! As the title would suggest. The consistency is slightly runnier than the Daily Essentials Moisturiser (without SPF) and on its own it leaves skin with more shine than the matte feel of the moisturiser without SPF. In saying that, it absorbs really well and with my normal makeup application it isn’t any more shiny than the regular moisturiser.
I love Alpha H. I think they are a fabulous brand. But this product is the worst SPF I have ever used.I have worn long wear SPF for about 20 years but thought I would give this a shot out of interest as I wanted to try using different products during the day for a while.I lasted a week!This particular SPF is greasy and just feels heavy on the skin. My makeup did not sit well on top of it (even with a primer) and by the time i got to 2pm, my face just looked shiny and not good at all.For me, I am way better off with long wear SPF and keeping other products to night times! Lesson learned! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I wear sunscreen all year round. I have one that I have been wearing for a while but sometimes I feel it is good to have a change. I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for protecting my skin from the sun. However, I found this a bit too oily. It stated primer but the small amount of foundation I do wear to cover uneveness on my cheeks, just melted after quite a short while. I will enevitably, as I do most sunscreens bought in error, use it on my decolletage, which doesn't need foundation!
This is the best facial sunscreen ever! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this sunscreen does not break me out or irritate my skin or eyes. It is very hydrating so if you have oily skin or live in a humid place you could just skip your moisturizer and go straight to this sunscreen. The texture is lovely, glides on the the skin very easily.It does not leave a white cast but it does leave the skin looking quiet shiny/glossy. I like to dab on some tinted sunscreen by Supergoop or Neostrata afterwards to add a bit of colour to my pale skin and matte the skin a bit.
