This was by far the most expensive pomade I have bought....but...can honestly say this is by far the most superior of all pomades I have bought!! I only use water based and have either ended up buying “hair gel” types in my search for one to stick with or just ending up with “hmmm...ok”, to simply end up just sticking with good ole Layrite...until I stumbled across this one! First of all, the scent....bloody top notch Barry Bananas this is....would wear that as an aftershave, every so often you get a waft, and so do the ladies!! I intended to purchase Layrite pomade but since it's out of stock at the day purchase, I bought what other people reviewed to be good alternatives. Turned out their reviews are trustworthy. Would definitely recommend my friends. =)
New to Pomades and did some online research for a water based product and low and behold this is the product everyone raves about.
The no. 5 pomade is a great high quality product. I have been using this product for quit some time now and I can really recommend it

This is a great option for those who want to set it and forget it after styling in the morning. The scent is an unbeatable, fresh cologne type of aroma and it will wash right out of the hair without stripping it of its natural oils. All in all, you can't go wrong. Definitely a good one for those that want a product that sets up without turning into an absolute helmet head.
The hold on this product is amazing, and when applied to damp hair, the shine is classy but not too overwhelming, it gives your hair a great appearance and feels great too, if you’re someone who just wants a solid set and forget product, this is your one, does everything you could want a pomade for. Just don’t touch your hair once set, as it will weaken the hold quickly. Would recommend highly.
