Over the last several years I have moved from the Momoi line to Suffix and now using Daiwa exclusively. This line is smooth, relatively thin and knots well. Love it!
Good quality braid and best bang for your buck. Also 300yds spool is perfect amount for 3000 series reels.

While I use several brand of braid, Daiwa J-Braid is my go-to line for King salmon fishing. It is the only line I absolutely trust when battling these fish in fast moving water, and I can always find it listed roughly 25-30% cheaper than equivalent Power Pro. Whether 4X or 8X, it is strong, durable, and casts well on both spinning and casting reels. All of my King salmon reels are loaded with J-Braid.
Spooled up my snapper reel with 20lb 4X to give it a try. I am a great fan of the j-braid 8X so wanted to see what the budget line is like.My impression is that it is thin, strong and supple... just a little stiffer than the 8X.Take this as a positive or negative: its NOISY!! Having used smooth quiet lines for a while I enjoyed the adrenaline pumping shreek shreek shreeking of a metre long snapper bolting toward the reef... similar sound to the old TD Sensor.This particular snapper drilled me in the reef but the j-braid 4X passed the abrasion test, Its strong.Conclusion: its not "cheap", its just different.
This line is pure junk. It wont hold a knot and breaks if it rubs against anything. For the price it is ridiculous. I strung up two ultralight Combos for a small mouth trip. I broke the line on every other hook up. Not a sine fish was bigger than a pound. I had to run out and get some actual spiderwire half way through my trip.
