I wore my first pair of Dansko clogs for more than ten years before they finally wore out. I was clog-less for four years. A month ago I welcomed a new pair of Dansko clogs into my life. It was like becoming reacquainted with a comfortable old friend, and I've been wearing my clogs daily ever since. Size 39 medium is perfect for my size 8 1/2 wide feet.

I wear a size 7 1/2. I think I noted the shoes fit smaller sizes so I order an 8. They were real ioose on me even with sock, so II replaced them for a 7 1/2 shoe. I love the clogs……bought when trend was New Years ago. But the shoes I purchased size 7/12 are still somewhat loose with socks, so I returned exchange to order size 7. They’re still new in the box that I may in a week or two decide if a smaller would be best. How long can of a timeframe of returns do you allow returns and/or exchange and order. Still new in the box. It’s just hard to wonder if the 7 would be too small.

This is my first pair of Dansko shoes. I find them to be quite comfortable after breaking them in. I initially found them to be somewhat stiff, and they felt best without socks. I then began wearing them with socks and developed a callous on the side of one foot after walking too far in them. This healed and the shoes now fit like a glove. The arch fits my foot perfectly. The toe box has ample room to wiggle my toes. They are secure on my foot. I have taken my time breaking them in at home, and they are especially good for when I am standing and working in the kitchen. I find that I also like them when I am walking, and I sense that my stride is a bit longer and faster. I already have a short list of other styles I'd like to purchase. I have heard for years from nurse and healthcare friends that these shoes are the most comfortable for long days on your feet and that they provide unparalleled support. I'm a server. I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say I am so disappointed. The bottoms of my feet are so sore, and my knees hurt. The tops of my feet hurt where the shoe rubs, too. I think it is because the shoe is rather heavy and it puts pressure on the bones on the top of my foot. I don't know how people wear these on long days. They have not provided any relief when compared to other shoes, and the "wide" version still doesn't have quite enough room in the toe box for my toes. My foot slides back and forth and I'm left wondering if I got the right size? These are great for work and being on your feet all day. It took me a long time to try them, but I finally understand why they're so popular now. My feet are never sore and achy at the end of the day like some of my other footwear. I thought I'd wear them occasionally but they're my go to! I am typically more comfortable in wide widths but the regular width is perfect.
I was introduced to these shoes about 9 years ago & I won't wear anything else unless I have to(like with a dress)! I have suffered with foot pain(feeling like the bottom of my feet were bruised after 30 mins of standing) my entire life! These are the only shoes I can stand for 12 hours shifts and I feel no pain! The staff at Orleans Shoe Co. was great. I ordered online & when I walked in the guy looked at my feet & said, "looking for new Dansko's?" I was in and out in under 5 mins.

My back was sore and after a couple days I knew I wouldn’t last unless I got some better shoes. My first day wearing them was such a relief, even though I needed to break them in a little I noticed my back doesn’t hurt as much and I feel it more in my calves and lower legs (it’s a lot more walking on concrete than I’ve been used to) but I needed a job after 9 months of COVID and these shoes make it a little easier on me physically. I love the arch support and plenty of room for my toes, I have a pair of Dansko sandals that I also love so I’m not surprised that I love these too. I heard that these were great shoes. While they are nicely made they really hurt my feet. I tried adding cushions but that did not help either. I have had several broken toes so that may be the issue. I have found other shoes that work much better for me

I double checked the label to make sure I didn't make a mistake ordering them, but it says wide in the exact same size I've been ordering for 6 years. I don't know what is going on, but these are the most uncomfortable danskos I have ever put on my feet. Also, the heel doesn't come all the way up like my past pairs. I am hoping that after I break them in I'll be happier, but I NEVER had to break in my other 3 pairs.. I'm disappointed, but am hoping they get better just because I love this company and have been a loyal customer for 6 years with zero issues.
