Amazing camp chair! The pockets and cup holder are just bonuses to me. I had spinal surgery 2 months ago and have never found a more comfortable camp chair... and ive been through many. Definitely worth the investment for back pain sufferers and people with knee issues... or anyone if you want a really comfy, quality made folding chair haha

Having many back problems I needed a comfortable chair. After trying almost everything at BCF, the sales assistant asked if I had tried the Darche Vipor XVI? I hadn't - but as soon as I sat in it, I knew it was definitely the best for me and my back. Such a great purchase & grateful for the assistance from BCF staff. Definitely worth the money if you have a bad back.

Between my wife and I, we have spent a couple of years looking for the best all round camp chair and trying them all out to see how they perform. If your after comfort, reliable, compact, sturdy, a drink holder and a good looking chair than this is the one for you. If you disagree let me know but nobody has told me different yet. Great chair, very sturdy and comfortable. The legs and feet are much stronger than the regular cheap fold out chairs. The side pocket is pretty handy too. Folds up well and easy to get into the bag. Pretty good value for the quality. Would recommend.
My wife has a chronic back problem and we have difficulties finding ordibary chairs that she can use. I have been looking for a good camp chair for her for a while. Saw this one on special and took her in the try it. Her eyes lit up when she sat in it and she said it was vary compfortable. Something she has never said about camp chair. We bought one for her and it has proved so good when I recently saw one on special at BCF I garbbed on for me as well. These are a good comportable seat and I highly recommebnty it. Usual rider though, camp chairs are a personal thing but I believe you will be pleasently surprised.
I Returned two of these, the third time I just asked for a refund. This chair looks tough but infact it has a few flaws. The stitching on the bag and where you sit down just falls apart. Secondly, the arm rests where the plastic parts connect just snap with not much force. For a chair that's rated to handle 150kgs, also I don't weigh much more than 80kgs, you would expect it to hold up for general day use, but it doesn't. Apart from that, while it wasn't falling part, it was very comfortable to sit in.
Purchased this chair on the 19th of December and it lasted 10 days. The bottom canvas has torn off the frame and can’t be used. Even the Darche logo has been embroidered crooked on the back rear and it looks terrible. For something worth $135 it’s very poor quality and will not be getting another one
If I could rate 0 I would. This is by far the worst chair I have ever owned. The arm design is beyond inferior, the metal c section arm rest is attached to the pivoting points at both ends by 4mm thick of brittle plastic. The first time I used them and lent on the arm rests as I stood up they BOTH broke at once. This is a chair that is rated for over 100kg and I’m only 79kg. Highly disappointed. If this chair is anything to go off on the “quality” of Darche products, I won’t be back.
My niece won a couple of these which led me to getting one. I've been using on the balcony and camping trips for a couple of months now and still is as good as new. The added storage pockets are ideal for sunnies, ciggies, bug spray etc. Drink holder fits a tinny / stubby with a cooler which shows someone in the design dept'. knows their stuff. Doesn't pack down as small as a typical camp chair but your back will thank you at the end of the trip. Seriously comfy, head support is ideal for a quick nap. If this chair reclined i would probably sleep in it. Age old saying - "you get what you pay for" applies to this product.
We purchased X2 of these chairs in November. They are really comfortable chairs, but both of the arm rests snapped with minimal weight placed upon them. I will be pursing for a refund as this will be very dangerous if someone falls off the chair(thankfully either of us fell off)
