It was a blind buy because I saw it posted by one of my friends on Instagram. She was raving about this perfume and I took a chance when Fragrance.net had good sale because it is not cheap. I am so happy I took the chance on it. I do not like strong and heavy perfumes. Dark Purple is a feminine perfume composed of floral notes with a mouthwatering top note of plum and orange and the dark earthy base of patchouli. Top: greedy plum, fresh orange. Heart: rose petals, geranium bourbon, patchouli, red fruit cocktail. Base: grey amber, teak wood, white musk. Little bit of spray lasts long time and mixed with every person’s skin it creates amazing fragrance. I highly recommend it and will continue to explore this brand.

I love the signature Montale DNA along with their exceptional sillage and long lasting fragrances. Not all have that, but this one does. For the oddest reason, this fragrance actually smells "purple" just like the name. It's a darker mood fragrance, not bright and sunny, Sultry, classy, sophisticated are words I would use to describe this. I love it.

As top notes you can definitely smell the orange in it, it also has some plum, but the orange takes over your nose on that first spray. As middle notes, the rose, the red berries and patchouli are very vibrant. The base notes are musk, teak wood and amber. Out of these 3, the one that can be very subtly smelled is the teakwood as the perfume has that woody fragrance. This is not my favorite out of all the montales I have tried. However, it is intriguing. If you like to use deep perfumes and with a more complex olfactory profile, this is it for you. Out of the 5 I ordered this was my least favorite initially so I decided to spray it on my skin and let it sit for the evening just to see how it performed. I think it's a good fragrance with WONDERFUL lasting power, it's just not for me personally.

You want a perfume that smells luxurious and is long lasting? This is it. One or two spritzes will last me 10+ hours. Good for day or night, this is one of my go-to date night/special occasion perfumes.

For me, this smell is a royal smell. This is the case when the price corresponds to the quality. This perfume is very persistent and it will last for a long time to use because very little perfume needs to be applied to yourself . I use this fragrance in winter because it seems to warm me up.

is the best fragrance! My association of the smell are richness and luxury things, I can’t even describe how good is the Parfume🥰. I am using it for more then 3 years and exactly the dark purple it is hard to find, as it is a rear/ limited product. When I am using it many girls and men are following me on streets and asking what am I wearing 🤩!!! It last for few days on your skin and clothes and sometimes after the laundry 😍😍😍😍. In my opinion the price is too low for this dark purple montale, since it has a volume of 100 ml and high quality. You can wear it for very special moments of your life, such as dating, dinner with your family and etc and it’s also good for the every day use!!!

Absolutely stunning fragrance

I chose this perfume after trying it in your sample selection and was instantly hooked. Dark Purple is quite captivating and I have had several interested inquiries about it as it’s quite unique. My package arrived promptly in a lovely black box and nestled in scented tissue.Being able to sample different fragrances is such a great way of making an informed choice. I absolutely was intoxicated by the aura of this perfume worn by one of my friends every time she was in the room. I couldn't wait to try it on for myself and lure my husband into the same captivating trancelike state. Although I do love the lasting scent that seems to linger long after its application, it doesn't quite captivate me with my chemistry, in the same way, thus the four star rating rather than the five + thAt I would have rated it originally. It still is my number 1 and will remain there for some time.
