Absolutely love this clay, it has a really great texture and is very easy to shape. Dries quite fast too. There’s something super satisfying about DAS packaging too. The clay is easy to use and even if you have little experience with clay you can make some easy trinkets or bowls. Definitely my favourite.

Daz is an amazing air drying clay for small scale sculptures. It doesnt crack during drying and doesnt shrink that much. It works well over wire armatures and in slabs over foil and masking taped shapes. After a sealing coat you can use paint, gilding wax mica powders to achieve lots of different finishes. My only negative comment is that it has a bumpy surface that requires a lot of filing and sanding to achieve a smooth surface. Id recommend it too for small repairs to ornaments etc. Its a brilliant clean versatile product for home use.

Bought this for Christmas crafts - name tags for crackers - but plenty left for various other crafts. Good value for money and does the job well. I would recommend this for any basic crafting - if you want detail work then you’re better off with regular clay or polymer like Fimo.Ideal for landscape work on a diarama or for rolling out and cutting shapes. Make sure you leave it for at least 24hrs - even a thing amount needs plenty of drying time.
DAS modeling clay is a dream to work with. It's completely manipulatable, just like regular clay but you don't have to have it kiln dried to finish your product. The air-dry capability (takes about 24 hours) of this product makes it super easy to use and complete a sculpture. It's fantastic. The other great thing that I've discovered is that even once the clay has completely hardened, you can still add to it later. Totally amazing product that creates a great surface, from smooth to ruff, very versatile. It's the best of the air-dry clays that I've come across yet after years of searching and I will continue to buy as many as I can. Love this stuff.
If you want to practice pottery or have fun making things with the children, this is a fantastic product to use. Its easy to mould or rollout and cookie cutters can be used to create neat shapes. It dries quickly (I put mine in the oven on a very low heat for 10 mins) and then it can be painted and displayed. Great for making Christmas tree decorations, Easter egg shapes and anything else you fancy.
This clay is great. It dries with zero cracking and is ROCK SOLID. I had been using sculpey air dry clay because it was more available to me, but they changed the formula and it is unusable now. So I decided to try DAS clay since it came highly recommended by those in the know- and they're right! I only wish I could find it for cheaper here in the US. Even so, the quality is worth the price point if you compare it to cheaper clays. If you need to sand it, you'll be in for a workout since it's so hard, but your sculpture will at least dry smooth and solid.
I turn to Blick whenever we are onto a new art pursuit. Both the vast variety and affordability of products never cease to astound me. This modeling clay has been a steadfast material in our home since my toddlers learned to coil. Many of our masterpieces have been tragically lost to the throws of our youngest. Some have survived and have made grandparents cry with delight upon receipt. If you're making people cry with your art, you know the materials are good quality. My 8th grade Art 3 students used DAS for our Spring Art Show and we love this product!! We made Fairy Houses, a Viking Ship, and a crazy Haunted Tree. My bonus kiddos had a blast and honestly, so did I. You can't go wrong with DAS!!
I really like this clay. I was bummed when it wasn't at the store. But was able to get it from their site. It been very easy to order from their website.
