I got my set during an earlier sale at 60% off. DJ sales can be trusted, their real. This set is beautiful & light enough for every day use. The white is classy suits any decor. Nice to have nice things in the dining/kitchen. People are busy, rushing through meals all the time. I spoil myself a few times a week with properly cooked dinner + drinks. This beautiful set compliments a nice dining experience with family & friends.

Items missing in the set. There are supposed to be 4 dinner plates, 4 bowls and 4 side plates. But the set actually had only 3 dinner plates, 3 bowls and 7 side plates. Not happy. Still trying to get an exchange rather than a refund.
I bought two sets a while ago and only recently started using them regularly. After a few washes I realised they are discoloured and the glaze is turning matte. They squeak together and the shapes are all slightly irregular. Not the bargain we thought they were. Sadly we seem to be outside the return window but will stick to premium brands in future.
Moved in a new house with new appliances and I have purchased this plates last year for Christmas party. After 3-4 washes in the dishwasher during the festive season the plates are looking terrible. Stained and without the fine bone china shines. The plates are coated with a fine bone shine and after washing them in dishwasher the coating came off and the plates are now looking matt, without shine, scratches super easily, and once the coating came off it absorbs food colour and stain terrible. All the plates coating are scratched from cutlery or matt as they lost the coating from washing or stained as the coating came off. Poor quality. I have own previously fine bone china crockery and I never had this issue until I purchased this brand. This dinner set is the worst I have brought, the food sticks to it and is hard to get off. The plates always look dirty. I would never recommend it . Dreadful!
Bought from David Jones. Within a year the glazing has come off leaving them matte, scratched and easily permeable to food and stains. Now permanently marked and discoloured. Took them back to the store to be told this was 'normal wear and tear' and no replacement or refund would be provided. I have never had anything like this happen to other items, including cheap things from Ikea.Avoid and buy something else.
Looks nice when new, but glazing or something is terrible. No matter how you wash it, fresh bread actually sticks to a clean plate and dinner set has stained over a relatively short time. Worst I’ve owned and really surprised as normally DJ branded items are good quality.
Like Amina, I am terribly disappointed with this dinner set, the appearance has changed to a dull look and nothing I have tried makes it any better , would not recommend
