Stuart Weitzman is a great brand, very comfortable, but calf fit is too narrow. I have a few different type-pairs of shoes from them, they are amazing and incredibly comfortable to walk and stand for long periods of time, iow, worth the investment! This year I decided to buy a "Knee-high- boot. The "Reserve" looked perfect to me. When I tried it on everything fitted great, except the calf part! My calfs are not that wide, so it surprised me! Sadly, I had to return them and I'm still looking for a pair. Other than that they are true to size. (I'm a 7.5, 5.5", 135lbs). I really wish they would made a few models with a wider-calf option. I would definitely invest on them!

I'm a solid size 7M and I just got these gorgeous pair in black suede today. Tried them with just wearing tights and the fit is just perfect! My feet are in heaven!The very top part of the front shaft hits above (about an inch) my knees, just right and not on the mid-thigh area. These are simply perfect for my 5'0.5" height. My calves are quite athletic, they measure at 14.5". The boots don't look like they're being stretched out too much and conforms with my leg shape in a beautiful fit. The over-the-knee creates an illusion that I own legs for days ;) Although at the ankle area, there is a bit of bunching but not too much that makes me want to return them.There is a bit of struggle to put these own and take them off. I now have these boots and leather and suede. The leather is definitely amazing. I agree with some reviewers that they are very hard to get on as the ankle part is narrow but it’s worth the 20 minute effort. The foot part of the shoe does run a bit big but I kept my normal size 12; they’re amazing! They go much higher on the leg then the regular 5050s and it’s nice having a heal, nice sexy toe as well, Not boxy like the regular 5050s. I have large calves and they fit my legs very well. Make the investment these boots are well worth it. And it’s even better when Bloomingdales has a good sale.

My favorite boot this year. The heel is comfortable so it can be worn anywhere. The fit is beyond flattering and sexy-ups any dress. So, glad I got it. It dies run big. You have to size a half size down.

I love the reserve boot. I have the ankle reserve boot and now the over the knee reserve boot. I like that they are not flat and have a tiny heel. I go back and forth between my true size and half size smaller in SW boots. My ankle reserve boots are size 7.5, but the over the knee reserve boots are size 8. So, you may want to try two sizes in these.

I've not always been a fan of elastic backs on boots, but on these boots, the elastic back creates the perfect fit and makes them look ultra sleek. At 5'7", they reach the top of my knee cap. I'm thoroughly happy with this purchase and I'm sure I'll wear these for many seasons! I highly recommend this boot to anyone who is looking for a classy over the knee boot!
I bought these to be able to wear while being on my feet for a long period of time. I have the 50/50 boots with heels, so I was already aware of the fit - these are much like that.I do think people with larger calves (and that doesn't mean fat) may have an issue - they're definitely a snug fit - but they are super comfortable.I had no problem walking around in them, they're a great height, and the rubber soles make them feel very stable. I haven't put them to the walking around downtown test yet, but I expect they're going to be just fine. I love these - a great splurge you wouldn't regret. And, my friends will appreciate them better than my Uggs, which I tend to live in for comfort all winter.
i purchased these shoes while the website had a sale. I got them at 25% off and they look worthwhile. The only thing which made me unhappy was the broken shoe box. It was even taped on one of the corners. I didn't expect a broken box from Bloomingdales. I have thought a while before I made my purchase. I am usually a 7.5-8 and as you might have learned, many people recommend a half size down. My feet are considered wide so I went after 7.5. And i am happy that I don't have to make a return for international return costs the custom duty that you have already paid.
