This is the only toothpaste I will ever use. I have tried all manner of "natural" and "low waste" options and all have left me wanting. They were either to dry, salty, terrible taste or didn't leave my teeth feeling clean. It is difficult when you have to compare all the products to the minty, sweet, foaming, chemical nightmares we grew up on. But this really gives me a comparable sensory experience, and with ingredients I can feel good about and packaging I can feel responsible for. 10/10 will repurchase and so glad I went with the 3pck. I'm excited to brush my teeth? Not something I'd ever thought I'd say!

There is a learning curvewith opening, loss of a lot of toothpaste, and using a keyto express the paste from the tube. Good idea making empty tubes recyclable. Beautiful packaging, great shipping boxes.....but, I would rather a reduced cost topurchase than having expensive packaging materials.I understand u want it to arrive in pristine condition,but it needs rethinking to reduce overall costs. I am loving that I'm not using harmful chemicals in my mouth. The taste took a couple days to get used to (not that it's bad, just different). The one annoying thing I'm figuring out is how to not drool the toothpaste. Because I use an electric toothbrush, I keep my mouth slightly open to make sure I get all angles of my teeth. Maybe because the toothpaste doesn't have the foaming agent like my old toothpaste, the toothpaste drool seems to easily dribble down my toothbrush. Small price to pay for, what seems, like a great product. Only the true test of how well this works will be when I visit my dentist in March.

I've tried 3 of the David's Toothpastes, and this is my favorite. Even my husband likes it! All of them make your teeth feel very clean and leave your mouth feeling refreshed. I think this peppermint version is a bit lighter in flavor intensity than the other peppermint toothpaste option, and I love that this one has hydroxyapatite. It has really helped with decreasing my tooth sensitivity and it does appear to have whitened my teeth a bit. The whitening isn't drastic, but it's there. This is our go-to toothpaste now. I also love the aluminum tube and key system.
I had braces as a kid and since having them removed my front teeth have been incredibly sensitive. Going to the dentist was a nightmare; all the electric tools were pure agony. The buffer/polisher spin brush was especially awful, you’d generally be able to peel me off the ceiling after my appointments. All hygienists were kind and tried to be helpful but it was just torture. Dentists recommended Sensodyne time after time but I never found it to be effective and my teeth never felt clean after using. I switched to fluoride-free a few years ago then to David’s. I loved the mouth feel, loved how my teeth felt after brushing (felt as though I’d just left the dentist each time I’d brushed!) and was generally impressed. I ordered this toothpaste for my kid who was diagnosed with MIH, a condition that weakens the enamel. Someone told me nano hydroxyapatite might help him. Unfortunately, the spearmint is "too spicy" for him, so I tried it myself. I like the flavor. But even better, when I wake up my teeth still feel freshly brushed in a way that never happened with fluoride toothpastes. Also, reading about their commitment to natural ingredients and recyclable packaging, I feel good about Davids. I'll have to try one of the other flavors for my kid. To be candid, we asked his dentist about nano hydroxyapatite and the dentist said they only use tried and true fluoride treatments. But you can ingest Davids without harm and that just makes more sense to me for use with kids.
I bought this toothpaste for 3 specific reasons: fluoride-free, sensitivity relief, and whitening. I’ve been using it for well over a month now and I have to say I’m disappointed. My teeth are not any whiter and my tooth sensitivity has not decreased even a little. I was so excited to find one toothpaste that checked all 3 boxes that I didn’t mind, at first, paying quite a bit more than grocery store brands, but after using it and not really getting the desired results, I feel like I wasted my money. Also, the taste is pretty bad, not very minty, but more of a sour baking soda taste. Overall, would not recommend.
I use the peppermint sensitive+whitening nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste. I have used it for a little over three weeks and the stuff is really good. I waited until I used it for a while before writing this review to be able to give an honest overview of the product. It turns out that the product works as advertised. Most of the stains from over the years are no longer there and it leaves my mouth feeling fresh. I have tried a few other brands that were supposed to do the same thing but did not deliver. Kinda expensive but worth the money in my opinion. If you have tried other brands and are not satisfied or looking for a tooth paste that does what you need it to do, I believe that you should give David's.
I am extremely happy to be using Davids! I'm looking to get dental work done and this brand has already made me feel more confident in smiling.And though the hydroxyapatite does give this specific one a more "medicine-like" flavor, the peppermint oil gets rid of any aftertaste. I've even noticed that my gums are less sensitive since using it!Other than that, using the aluminum tubes makes me feel like I'm using all of the toothpaste- y'know not having to squeeze until I'm white-knuckling a bottle for a brush before bed.I'd definitely recommend the regular flavors to start if anyone has an issue with a stronger taste-- but after a few weeks of use I hardly notice it anymore. So I'd say 10/10! So happy I bought the 3-Box supply.
I'm on my third tube of David's Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste and I don't see myself ever going back to regular fluoride toothpaste.I love knowing that my teeth are getting the remineralizing help they need and that I'm not putting harmful ingredients in my mouth.The toothpaste itself has a peppermint taste. While it doesn't leave my mouth feeling or smelling AS fresh and minty as regular Colgate or Crest (it does, but not as much as I'm used to), there is no doubt that my teeth are clean. They feel clean and look clean, too.Very satisfied with both the product and the subscription service (free shipping! huge draw, in my book) and looking forward to continuing to use this toothpaste!
