Not for my hair, disappointedI was highly anticipating using this in my hair, because I absolutely love the oil version. I thought this would leave my hair with a similar soft texture and lovely smell. The only thing it did for me was give my hair a nice smell, otherwise it stiffened my hair. At first, it was working well for braiding my hair, but once my hair came out of the braid, it was once again very stiff and dry. My hair was not soft anymore and I had to wash this stuff out. I wish I had the $50 I used to buy this from my favourite salon on a larger bottle of oil instead, because that is my go to product.This may work for someone who has thinner hair. My hair is very thick. The oil is absolutely amazing though.

Miracle Worker!I have thick, curly, long, aging hair and have been losing my curl pattern over the years. I've desperately tried everything I could find in stores and salons. I recently found a new salon I love that introduced me to Davines products. This has been LIFE CHANGING. Within the first week I used Oi Butter, my curl pattern was miraculously restored and I have been a superfan ever since. Before Oi Butter, I had thought my curls were never coming back and was having such a difficult time accepting that my hair would never be the same. Because of Oi Butter, I now get compliments on my hair again and I finally feel like myself --and I owe it all to Davines!!! This is exactly what I've been needing and I couldn't be more grateful!!!

Amazing!Up until now, I struggled to find a good conditioner that actually would make my dry, bleached, straw like and damaged hair feel silky. I also wear hair extensions. I tried full Oi product line and was never really impressed. Until I tried this hair butter. It is amazing! I use it after Olaplex shampoo and leave it on for about 10 min. Right after first use, I was impressed. My wet hair felt amazing! I will be buying this stuff forever. I dried my hair as usual, styled and was impressed. There was no frizz, hair felt like silk and there was actually lots of volume. Just one thing to mention, the day I stated using Oi hair butter, I also started using Kerastase hair oil. The combination of these two products, does unimaginable!

This is literally the most amazing hair mask I have ever used. It has a deep woody smell that appeals to both my male partner and I, and has a thick pomade consistency so a little goes a long way. I try to keep it in as long as possible and it makes my hair so smooth and shiny. I have dry, wavy, color damaged hair and this product brings my hair back to life without leaving a gross oily finish. I am not even joking this stuff is AMAZING and I use so little I have had it for over a year. I highly recommend this product. The only downside is this product is $44 but I believe it is worth the price. (Which is a big deal because I wouldn't normally pay that much for a hair product, no matter how much I liked it)

As a beauty product junkie when my hairdresser gave me this mask I really wants expecting much. And considering that I was using Kerastase at the time I figured it would be another “good product”. Oh my good I was not prepared for what happened in that shower. This mask will make your hair feel as soft and slippery as butter. I ate a huge slice of humble pie and ended up ordering the 1L version. I am obsessed. This works for both my dry chemically damaged (relaxed) African American hair and my straight Asian hand tied hair extensions installed. Literally the best conditioner that I have ever used.

I'm a curly girl living in a dry climate, which means getting enough moisture into my hair to keep my curls happy is A Challenge. I started using the Davine's OI Hair Butter along with a scalp scrub a couple times a month to get the product build up out of my hair and then get the moisture back in. Your mileage my vary, but my hair LOVES it. My hair comes out soft and silky and stays that way through the next wash day. I don't mind the scent, but I can see how it could be off putting to others. I do leave it in longer than recommended to maximize the results, and for me it rinses away just fine.

Fabulous product...

I use thus hair mask all thr time and the end results are fabulous. The hair mask can be used as a treatment with your normal hair routine or can be left in for a couple of hours. Wash hair, towel dry and use product from mid length down, no need to put on roots. After the desired time, rinse off. Apply a little conditioner and rinse. Your hair with be silky smooth and smell divine!

So I don’t usually use Davines products but I do go to a davines salon. My stylist gave me a sample of the OI Hair Butter to try and I was a little nervous that it would be comparable to the Oribe Gold **** Pre Treatment product. That left my hair greasy and was hard to wash out. I do have fine hair, a lot of it, and it has been bleached to smitherines! This product smelled pretty strong but not bad. A little did NOT go a long way for me (I applied to dry hair starting at the ends) and the sample didn’t come close to saturating my hair. Maybe it’s not supposed to? I ended up covering the rest of my hair with Brigeo Don’t Despair Repair mask and I ended up really happy with the results, most of which I attribute to the OI Hair Butter since I used the Brigeo ... MoreSo I don’t usually use Davines products but I do go to a davines salon. Love this mask!

I really enjoyed this mask and am waiting patiently for it to come back in stock so I can repurchase at full size! The texture felt very luxurious as it’s a thicker ‘butter’ formula but my hair responds really well to heavy masks - possibly because it’s quite knotty naturally as well as being damaged from bleach. I don’t think I could use this alone (I always follow with a regular conditioner because of the tangles) but I really enjoyed using as a deep conditioning mask.

Softest Hair!

I am obsessed with this product. I am a natural blonde, but get highlights and use purple shampoo/conditioner in between hair coloring appointments. When using the purple shampoo/conditioner, it tends to dry your hair out, however, when I use this product with it, my hair is incredibly soft! Plus it smells amazing. I definitely recommend and will continue buying this item and it's worth the price point in my opinion.
