Up until this point I thought it was good until I buy weight plates from somewhere else with a 1inch hole (Was informed in store it was a 1inch hole) now I find out it's 28mm when I look online. This means you can ONLY use their plates as others won't fit plus they're going up. So I highly recommend you buy from Amazon eBay or proper sport shops. As I won't be coming back to decathlon.

The bar is nice and works as it should. However it could be even 10 kg instead of 9.8. It would be ok if the corals were 100 g each but they are plastic. I would like to lift even kilograms instead of fractions.

Wouldn't recommend unless you plan to buy this and the plates from decahtlon. Otherwise it's a good barange design with centre knurling but it just doesn't fit most standard platest.

Genuinely this is an excellent bar. I think it weighs more than stated and feels not far off an 20KG Olympic. All the Domyos bars are excellent quality but they are best used with the Domyos weights. They are slightly bigger than normal 1 inch plates, which won’t fit these bars. I have all Domyos plates and my advice would be to do the same. Cheaper than most other places and much better quality. Can’t fault them
Quality is good.Sturdy.For 28mm and length 2m,the price is good and total weighing capacity is 160 kha i guess which is good for 28mm.Knurlings are good and you can easily know where to place your hands.Not all 28mm plates are equal,unfortunately,so insert those which can smoothly slide t and use the plates which dont slide smoothly,in the end.Though some times rod feels bit wavey when placed with higher weight on a bench or a smaller area where the whole bar is resting.
All weight equipment from Domyos and Decathlon are good especially this 6 footer. Fits any rack and delivers a quiet solid feel. Heavy enough not to topple when you are loading especially if your bench press rack doesn't have a j hook. Best to balance loading the weights. Another value for money buy. Just do it.
Purchased this training bar new, for use on the refurbished weight training rack squats chin-ups (purchased through Second Life) as well as free weights use. The bar fits on the rack perfectly for all variations of bench pressing, shoulder press, and squats as well as other exercises. The bar is strong, has good knurled handles for grip and guides for grip width. Great buy.
Perfect for Military Press, Bench Press and Deadlift. Locks not available due to COVID lockdown. Have used 28mm plates from other brands. Used upto 110 KG rubber plates for deadlift. Knurling is grippy & doesn’t hurt hands while lifting. The chrome finish looks very good.The only bad about the product is the irremovable sticker which leaves residues even after cleaning with alcohol. Kindly add tags instead.
Almost perfect, sadly it was over an inch in size ,so I had to grind it down. So my weights could fit on it but yes solid bar and works now. Plus it wasn't wrapped up when I got it ,driver said it fell out of wrapper but it is a solid bar so it was good. And clamps don't fit either so, I use a strap to hold the weights in place.
Good quality product. If you have existing weights bought elsewhere, make sure to measure the hole precisely as I have some old ones that are not olympic size but doesn't fit. Also because of the length make sure u have enough space if u have a small workout area in your house.
