Tasty some are different colour to others not all the same hardness
If you like hard & bitter peaches in a very sour juice these will be perfect for you. but if you like them softer & sweeter i wouldn't bother with these.
I much prefer tinned peaches in juice (which these are) as I used them for baking mini chicken breasts (with soya sauce, toasted sesame oil, and balsamic vinegar). I also prefer food that is not sweet so these also hit the spot with greek yoghurt as a snack.
The last time I had tinned peaches was back in the 1970's with evaporated milk. I remember them being slimy and really sweet. Not these - They were lovely.Firm and not too sweet. Yummy with natural yoghurt. Oh, how times have changed.
We eat these regularly but had a shock a few weeks ago when we opened a (in date, we'll stored) tin to find a blackened mouldy peach half. I have to say it's the one and only time this has happened but it put me off these. I did send photos to Ocado and had refund.
Better than slices, but a sudden 20% increase in price is unjustified.
Very reliable product, have been using Del Monte fruit in juice for years, always good stuff.
Proper peach halves good flavour but on the expensive side. Shame Ocado don?t stock a cheaper brand as I tend to only use them in jelly or trifles.
I had to throw these away, peaches were hard and yellow and very unripe.
