Full disclosure, I am not a computer system guru, but I do know what I like. As a replacement for two 24” monitors, I purchased two Dell 27” S2721HS monitors to extend my Dell Inspiron 15 5510 laptop, and I could not be happier! These monitors are big, and bright, with an amazing picture/display quality. I use a thunderbolt dock, and setup was a breeze, right out of the box, with no configuration needed. It is not necessary to download or use the Dell Display Manager software, but doing so offers several additional useful display configuration options which I greatly appreciate. Working/playing on these monitors is very enjoyable, and I would recommend the Dell 27 - S2721HS highly, and without reservation. I’m sure you will enjoy them as much as I do.

I ordered two of these to replace my dual FHD monitor setup and they did not disappoint! The resolution, clarity, and color are perfect! The white stand and grooved back panel are an eye pleasing combination and a welcome change from the standard black or grey. I am also very impressed by the sound quality of the built-in speakers. To be honest I wasn't expecting much from that feature and have always used external speakers, but they have a great use case where space is an issue to have external speakers on your workspace. I highly recommend this monitor!

I had been looking around for a while before I settled on this model. Even after missing the end-of-financial-year deal, I was sold on the combination of high resolution, high refresh rate, portrait + landscape modes, height adjustment, thin bezels, built-in speaker, standard Dell-quality display. I have been using this monitor for about a month and so far satisfied. Once I got used to the QHD resolution, it's painful to deal with regular FHD displays. I look forward to upgrading to a reasonably priced 32" 4K display in the near future.

These are very nice monitors. Especially for the price. I didn't want to go with a higher resolution because I primarily deal with text on the monitors. So, 1920X1080 at 27" is actually a very good size. Then you don't have to deal with the scaling in Windows to make stuff visible. I now no longer user my glasses while working with these monitors. The sound on the built in speakers is fantastic. I didn't even buy them to use the sound, but now that I do I am very, very impressed!
This monitor has a lot of great features: 27" large viewing panel, decent speakers for the price, height adjustable, good color and thin bezel. The only minor thing that's kind of annoying is a plastic cover on the right, back side which doesn't snap into place as it seems like it should. It sits flush with the rest of the back of the monitor but if I happen to adjust the monitor or bump it, I'm pretty sure that cover would just fall off. It's supposed to cover the back for some reason, maybe to hide where the HDMI cable goes into the back of the monitor? IDK.
When powering up my newly purchased Dell computer and screen it repeatedly comes up with a message HDI1 not detected although all connections are in place. It then goes into sleep mode. By pressing the ridiculously small and awkward to use (laughably referred to as a joystick) it indicates the correct HDI1 option is indeed selected! The option to press any keyboard key to wake up the screen doesn't work. I usually need to turn off the computer, and restart when the screen usually comes into life.Once the screen is finally working the display and options for use are impressive. Trying out my previous screen with this computer it powered up each time without any issues whatsoever!
I got this for personal study for coding. I love that this has adjustable height and screen orientation. It is very comfortable when I rotate it to vertical when reading journals. Also, 27 inch is wide enough that I can have multiple programs opened when coding. Personally, I use this to movies and TV shows and has great sounds!! Way better sound than my laptop. I also like the white color which matches with my laptop. It's pretty! It is easy to setup and the monitor did not feel to weak (makes me feel safe) which I LOVE about.
This is a great work monitor and has all the features I am looking for. The height does adjust easily, maybe a bit to easy but it works well for what I am using it for. Bought 2 for the on-line price. Choose the free shipping and enjoy. Looking forward to buying a wall mount system so I can have all monitors in horizontal position. Currently running an H like pattern on my desk at home. Not sure if there are speakers or not installed. I did not purchase them with the speaker option. Have not tried to use the audio port and running off laptop speakers currently.
The key feature I could not live without was the monitor stand. There was a cheaper version of the same display but without height and rotate ability. The picture is great and it fits nicely on my desktop (not too big and not too small.).I also use the Display Port (DP) for my old Macbook Pro. Very nice. The only problem there is the Dell software has NOT been updated for recent Mac OS so it doesn't work. It doesn't really matter too much because I just hit the hotkey on my Windows PC to send it over to the Mac and I'm on my way.The one feature I cannot figure out is why my browser resizes itself while sleeping. When I wake up my monitor, the browser window needs to be resized back to the size I'm used to using. Really pleased with this purchase. The monitor is good enough for basic computer use, its not a gaming monitor or top of the range creativity monitor but for everyday use its perfect. I looked around at other brands before deciding on this one and I've not been disappointed. The picture is clear with good colours, the stand is fully adjustable which is useful. I was going to the cheaper version of this monitor with a fairly fixed stand but then this one was reduced in a sale to the same price. No brainer. One surprise for me was the quality of the speakers. Clear and loud with no distortion until you really push it. Much better than I was expecting at this price.Would definitely recommend as something for generaluse and at push the 100Hz could be used as a ... MoreReally pleased with this purchase.
