My son is in college and needed a USB-C to Display Port (F). It was a little more expensive than a no-name generic offered by another electronic merchandise company, but I didn’t trust the recommendation was the best for my son’s Dell Laptop. Turns out after a little research the product they recommended was not entirely compatible with my son’s laptop after all. Dell Customer Service is wonderful. Product arrived quickly and in secure packaging for the product. There is a level of trust I have with Dell over others for my son’s computer accessories and devices. P.S. This is not a paid review, I’m just a mom who wants to get it right when my independent son asks for a humble birthday gift.

HDMI adapters were necessary to share screens. It is Understandable that Dell xps15 does not come with HDMI ports

This monitor has made teaching virtually much easier. I can now still view my students while sharing my screen to present something to them. Thank you so much!!

It worked once and then it didn't! I don't know what to do? Can I return this item for a replacement? Haven't had time to check - so busy with my job that I have to send emails to my other computer in order to print item because Dell connector doesn't work with my new laptop.
The Dell Monitor has been extremely helpful in teaching my students remotely. I am able see all my students on the monitor and use my laptop for my instructional slides.
The screen was cracked when I opened the box, to put it together and no one has been in contact with me to have it replaced. I thought it was a spider web. But, then when I got it out a second time to put it together, then plugged it in, I saw it was cracked. :(
Tried three different HDMI cables and couldn't get my monitor to display 144hz from my laptop. Figured I'd try DisplayPort. Using a DisplayPort 2.1 cable + this adapter... 144hz at last!
Useful tool. Various USB-C adapters should come standard with laptops, but until then purchase proven parts.
Worked to connect a second monitor. Happy with purchase. The older monitor only had these connections to work with 1 VGA; 1 DVI-D; 1 DisplayPort.
It works as intended to allow me to have two monitors on my Alienware M15R7 using the USB C/DP adapter and HDMI out.
