I was looking for a keyboard/mouse combination that would work across multiple devices (work, home, mobile). This seemed to fit the bill with a good full layout keyboard. The pros:- Works across 3 devices- Easy switch buttons (for the keyboard and mouse individually)- Sleek and modern designThe cons:- It sometimes skips/temporarily loses connectivity (and has happened on more than one occasion)- There is a bit of a lag time when switching to bluetooth on phones (might not be the device issue but the phone issue?)- The device surface seems a bit 'squeakish'. A little bit of a rough edge would be nice.- The mouse isn't ambidextrous- The switch across devices is individual for keyboard and mouse (can be seen as a pro and a con)- The device switch ... MoreI was looking for a keyboard/mouse combination that would work across multiple devices (work, home, mobile). Yes. I still would because for all it's cons, it still serves the purpose and does so pretty decently. And although the skips are annoying, it doesn't happen very often.

I use F3 and F4 all the time and having to select "fn" to activate the functions is taking extra time and sometimes leads errors in my programming process.2. The raise legs had a terrible design, the reason is, raiser open from right to left and when I move my keyboard to the left or right the raiser tend to close by itself and I have to constantly open the raisers back all the time, first time that I see the design like that. My review will be separate in 3 : the keyboard alone, the mouse and both together as a combo. The KeyboardI love the keyboard, it's midway in a laptop keyboard and a full size keyboard. It is simple and light and feel like typing on a laptop keyboard but with the space of a regular keyboard which is, for me, really nice. The button for the multi-device is ok, showing you the actual device number with the white led light on the first press and then rolling through the 3 possibles inputs, used or not. This is a little irratating but not a show stopper. The 3 calculator builtin macro button on the top right would have been more useful if they were just the individuals inputs selectors. The foward side button are hard to use alone, when you press it, it often does a left click too. The multi-device button rotation work the same way as the keyboard does. The top cover to access your battery abd the dongle is well done, easy to fit and don't fall off using magnet to stay in place. The main issu is that you can't adjust the DPI without Dell Periphiral Manager (something like that) and you only have fixed choices. It's a real office mouse, do not try to game with it, it's not build for that and it's not a good feeling too. For me the mouse is a 3.5.The ComboTogether those really do the job for the combo price. My only cons as a cvombo is that they are not linked together when changing the multi-device. It should be an option in DPM to "lock" together the keyboard and mouse. Lets give the user the choice to be able to do it. For me the combo is a 4.0.To get the star back, we need to have unfixed DPI settings in DPM and to have the "lock together" checkbox. The mouse shape is really a personnal thing so it's up to you.

Great Buy - Quality Keyboard & Mouse
7 March 2023

I spent an hour reading about all the wireless keyboard and mouse kits sold on Dell website. This model looked like an excellent keyboard and mouse. The shocker was that this new keyboard weights 3 to 4 times the cheap keyboard that I bought with my Dell XP 9590. The mouse is good and more comfortable than expected. When you get your new keyboard and mouse, remember you MUST download the Dell Peripheral Manager first before installing your new mouse and keyboard. Like all the options you can program for the two side buttons and the wheel positions on the mouse. Really flexible and really easy to set and "undo". Of course, you can program the 12 Function keys. Really nice. What I did not like....instruction booklet does not clearly say which way the battery goes ... MoreI spent an hour reading about all the wireless keyboard and mouse kits sold on Dell website. The bump lines on the "F" and "J" key are low, could have been higher.Like the tactical feel of the roller on the mouse and the keys. So far this system is great and you really save money buying the two of them together.

Great and Good but Room for improvement.

The Great! I really like this keyboard. The feel is great and the keys are very responsive. Can definitely tell when the a key is struck. The travel is further than on a laptop keyboard but does not require any extra effort. Spacing of the keys feels great to me. Build quality is solid feels great and honestly I don't think I would want anything else. The Good. The mouse does what I need it to do, scroll horizontally, so it makes work easy however I have found that the material and shape of the mouse could be improved upon. The material can be a little bit more slick compared to others if your hands are at all dry and I did not find the shape to be as comfortable in the hand as other units I have used. Nice Dell Keyboard and Mouse Design

Mouse is comfortable to hold and click pressure is nice and light. Wheel is also multi-functional which I think I'm going to like. skid pads on bottom of mouse are long, curved strips and less likely to be the first things to wear out like other manufacturers. The keyboard has a nice set of quiet, easy to press, full-size keys. For its slim size, it has a nice, strong weight to it, obviously more than just plastic. The skid pads on the bottom of the keyboard are of two kinds: a long strip that covers the full width of the bottom of the keyboard, which I like since again, it should be less easy to wear out quickly. The pads at the top of the keyboard (on the back) are three (approximately) 1-inch pads which are deeply embedded in depressions in the back cover. The pads at the top of the keyboard (on the back) are three (approximately) 1-inch pads which are deeply embedded in depressions in the back cover. This concerns me a little since they will probably be the first things to wear out, given the amount of movement around a desk that will put pressure on the pads. But since there is ample room to place 3rd party pads along the (back) top edge, these pads are eons better that the plastic feet on the most popular brand of keyboard, feet that always snap off and are impossible to replace. using pads instead of feet to elevate the top of the keyboard still works well because the keyboard frame itself has a nice pitch to it with elevates the keyboard toward the user. The elevation seems to be a compromise between flat and about a 1 inch elevation, call it about 3/4 of an inch. Overall, I prefer this keyboard and mouse combination to the most popular brand. Nice compact keyboard

Love this little keyboard. Very stylish and sturdy. Keys have a feel somewhere between a laptop and a regular keyboard. Great: Small size good keystroke play. Seems to be made of hard plastic or maybe whatever they make laptop shells out of. Heavy for such a small keyboard. Mouse is rather generic except for the fact that it does bluetooth along with wifi which can be toggled through the different settings. Cons: Average feel for mouse. Keyboard is not lighted though the battery is supposed to last for like 2 years so I can see why they didn't have it lighted. And the one peeve I have is that the number lock doesn't stay on. I believe that is due to the energy savings feature. I mean it will turn on but then turns off in about 10 seconds. Also has lights to show ... MoreLove this little keyboard. Very stylish and sturdy. Also has lights to show which mode you are in i.e. bluetooth or wifi but they never have lit up. I am sure it is part of the energy savings since this is a wireless keyboard and mouse but I would have preferred to have the number lock lit up so I know when it is on.

Solid keyboard/mouse combo

I am very impressed with this combo. It's a great example of form following function. The overall size of the keyboard is smaller than most others on the market with no wasted space on unnecessary design elements, yet it's still big enough that typing on it feels normal. The keys have a nice feel to them as well. The mouse works well enough and has two programmable keys on the side. It isn't unidirectional, so mouse lefties will struggle with it. After a week using it, I'm still figuring out how much pressure works best when clicking. Sometimes the clicks don't take, but I think that's more a docking station issue than a mouse issue. Connecting via Bluetooth, it doesn't happen as much. With a dongle and two Bluetooth connections, you can also connect this combo to ... MoreI am very impressed with this combo.
