I bought this to go with my 2023 15" XPS laptop. It is a full sized mouse, which might put off some, but doesn't bother me. The link with the laptop is made either by (1) a USB-A dongle (stored inside the mouse) or (2) Bluetooth. I chose the Bluetooth, which happens to be built into the laptop, the link-up was straightforward. Since then the mouse has worked perfectly. The mouse is generally good quality, in terms of click and movement sensitivity. There is no case or pouch. An on-off switch saves the battery. Even though the laptop has a large trackpad, I prefer the mouse.

The packaging of the product is terrible (the mouse itself is fine). There is 50% chance that upon opening the box, the mouse will fall from a height (it happened to me) because the product is not firmly embedded in the packaging and there is difficulty in seeing which way is up and which way is down. By sliding the box from the cover, the product automatically drops to the ground and there is risk of damage. People don't pay much attention when opening the product anyway, so Dell should insure protected packaging and prevent eventual drops to the ground.

I like the mouse. It is slightly smaller than what I am used to, but still comfortable, and it has the minimum number of buttons I like (two on the side). However, the Bluetooth connection with my Dell laptop is not the strongest. In a work session of multiple hours, there's a chance I'll have the turn Bluetooth off and on again on my laptop so the mouse can reconnect. Using the dongle is probably a better choice, but I don't have any USB-A ports :(
Bought this to replace a 10+ year old Dell Bluetooth mouse which had repeatedly failed due to rusting on the negative (black) wire from the battery terminals to the electronics. I had made several repairs over the years by cutting out the rusty wire and re-soldering a fresh piece - which then rusted and eventually I ran out of wire! Why did they use steel wire instead of copper??? The new mouse is OK so far, although it seems to take ages to re-connect when the laptop comes out of sleep or hibernation. I usually have to switch to the mouse pad on the laptop for a minute or 2.
I purchased this mouse to replace another mouse that came with the wireless keyboard I purchased from Dell. I LOVED my previous mouse and was so disappointed that Dell no longer had the same mouse, so the rep suggested this one. Initially, I was going to return it as I didn't feel it was as smooth or responsive as my previous mouse and it is a bit heavier. However, I've gotten use to it and have decided to keep it as it fits my small hand well.
This Dell mouse is so poorly designed that it's impossible to use. It was designed to be silent but the R & L buttons were made so sensitive that the slightest pressure of either resting finger causes a screen error. Had to jury rig it inside with cardboard pieces to alter fulcrum of buttons in order to decrease sensitivity. My one star is an over rating for sure. Unable to use this mouse at all.

A battery life of 15 months is claimed. I recently purchased the above product and I am more than pleased with the mouse and I did purchase a keyboard as well. They both are working well and again I am very pleased. However, I did not know when I purchased the mouse alone (I did this before purchasing the duo) that my mouse did not work with the keyboard I had at the time (all my products are Dell). So I purchased the duo. Would have done this in the beginning had I known.
