This is a great product. The reason I only gave it 4 stars, I have a matched keyboard and mouse set, lost my mouse and ordered a new mouse. I find no way to sync the mouse with the current 2.4 g adapter that my keyboard is using. I have been able to sync with bluetooth. Where is the software so I can make this happen?

This mouse is fantastic. I love how you can switch between two Bluetooth devices and one wireless device with a dongle. At work several of us have the mouse and keyboard combo and they are well worth the investment. The mouse and keyboard feels solid unlike some of these other brand that feel like cheaper plastic.

The Dell mouse I lost was part of a Dell keyboard + mouse combination so I made sure I purchased an exact same mouse model.Sadly the mouse does not sync with the keyboard and when I asked Dell Technical Support they advised I would need to purchase a keyboard + mouse combination, effectively throwing away a perfectly good and working keyboard.This is not only a complete environmental failure by Dell but is also poor product development.I was also told by Dell I'd get a refund for the mouse I purchased..........still waiting 3 weeks on.

This mouse is just what I wanted. The bluetooth connection was a breeze. The buttons work well and provided more options than I have currently been used to. Going forward or back on webpages is a nice addition. For me, bluetooth is well worth the additional cost, particularly when I travel. I don't want to keep up with additional items to plug into ports.
I recently got the dell wireless mouse, it works very well. Arrives in nice neat packaging. Includes a AA battery, which is inserted into the packaging, not inside the mouse. you easily lift the top off the mouse, and insert the included battery, remove the dongle. Insert the dongle intoyour device, replace the top and go. I was surprised at how lightweight the mouse is, it glides so smoothly, even without a mouse pad. Both my kids used it with their chromebooks, and it worked perfectly. The pages moved a little fast, but that’s something we need to get used to. The mouse is very comfortable to hold, the buttons all click easily. I definitely find this mouse to be better quality than the cheap ones I usually buy.
Was very easy to setup. I actively use between two laptops via Bluetooth and it switches very easily between the two with a simple button on the mouse, it will allow a third with a USB dongle that I don't use. The button on the mouse that switches between devices I have yet to click accidentally, so the design of the button is easy to use and not easy to accidentally click.I have found that it works well on a ton of different surfaces/tables
I am really loving this new Dell Multi-device Wireless Mouse. I literally had this set up in a matter of seconds! Just plugged in the USB bluetooth adapter & it was up & running. I didn't have to install any drivers or software at all. It's the perfect size for my hand, the wheel scrolls pretty smoothly & it has storage for the USB Bluetooth adapter so you don't lose it. My last wireless mouse was rechargeable but I was having to charge it 1-2 times a week so I wasn't a big fan of that wireless method. The Dell Multi-device Wireless Mouse runs off of one "AA" battery & can run up to 36 months!! And when the battery runs down you don't have to wait for it to charge, you just change the battery. Works using Dell peripheral manager, with or without a USB dongle. The programmable scroll wheel and two side buttons are clever and helpful. Note that programming the scroll wheel press and sideward tilts can interfere with certain applications typical programming of mouse wheel (especially for CAD programs where pressing scroll wheel is used for panning).
I was looking specifically for a Bluetooth-compatible wireless mouse to use with my Bluetooth-enabled desktop and laptop so I wouldn't have to swap dongles around. This mouse paired up just fine with my laptop (BT5.1) but my desktop (BT2.1) couldn't see it: from online research it sounds like it's not compatible with older Bluetooth standards. The workaround was to use the USB dongle in the desktop. This works fine and I don't have to unplug it to use the mouse with my laptop. Problem solved. I'm docking one egg because it seems like it should be simple enough to make it backwards-compatible with all older versions of Bluetooth. Maybe not, but bottom line is it didn't quite work the way I wanted it to and I don't see any warning about this in the documentation.
Great mouse has all the buttons I need, fast and responsive, a little heavy for gaming but theres no mouse that i like more than Dell's. The ability to pair to multiple devices is neat but I have no use for that feature it's something I could do without. I already own a dongle and paired it along with my Dell wireless keyboard with no issues. Thumb buttons are easy to reach maybe would be better if they were in a lower position. Very comfortable mouse for my large hands. Sides of the mouse have some sort of "rubbery" material, I like the feeling of it kind of increases grip. Mouse wheel is pretty rough when scrolling feels too "bumpy". Clicks feel satisfying and are not super loud.
