I have been using a second 27" screen for quite some. As it was a struggle looking at multiple screens, I decided for an ultrawide 34". After looking at multiple models I decided with the Dell 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor - P3424WE. I like that I can use the USB C cable as bot power and Display output to the monitor. Another handy application is the Dell Display Manager. It takes a bit of getting used too, I can have multiple profiles where I section the screen size. I use this function a lot. The only setback is when I use Teams, I cannot share my full screen as this would be too small for the others viewing. So, I had to resort to sharing certain applications. This is a pain as I have to share multiple applications and have to switch the application shared ... MoreI have been using a second 27" screen for quite some. So yes, I'd say go for it. I went for this model because it was IPS and had USB C . Not really sure if the IPS vs VA justifies the price difference as I have not had a VA screen before.

Having purchased this expensive monitor I was unable to get the KVM switch to work with my two Mac computers and after your tech service said they were unable to help me was told that my model is not Mac compatible and said I should exchange it for another Dell monitor that is. Upon contacting your sales dept they were unable to identify any other Dell monitors with specified Mac KVM compatibility and asked me if I wanted to return my purchase. .If their response is correct why is there not a notice about Mac KVM incompatibility in specs for all Dell monitors including one I purchased?? . Indeed the display software download for KVM has a Mac option and lists my monitor model .So I suspect my monitor is indeed Mac KVM compatible but your routine tech people ... MoreHaving purchased this expensive monitor I was unable to get the KVM switch to work with my two Mac computers and after your tech service said they were unable to help me was told that my model is not Mac compatible and said I should exchange it for another Dell monitor that is. I cant give this monitor or Dell a good rating for the above reasons and will try to find my own technician who can resolve at my expense.(Your service people tried to convince me this was Mac OS issue but I had same problem with Macs running different OS versions and there is no warning about OS compatibility in your on line instructions. )

This monitor has been a game changer for working with multiple processes. This gives me so much more real estate to work with I can comfortable work with 3 separate windows without having to bounce back and forth between tasks. The picture quality exceeds expectations at 2k with great color. It's light enough for my Ergotron monitor arm to hold it and another 27" with no issues. If you are multitasking throughout the day I definitely recommending to go with this monitor it's worth every penny.

Beautiful screen with lots of ports. I really like that it has a KVM switch built in. I can have two computers plugged in and it will switch back and forth. The PiP mode is also extremely helpful. I can work and still set up other machines on the side.I love that it is one USB-C cable to connect my laptop to all my accessories. The only thing I wish this monitor had was the ability to daisy chain. Since it is a hub monitor, it would have been nice to be able to plug an additional monitor in.In all, I can't say enough good things about this screen. Excellent price point, beautiful display, all great things!
This is a great monitor, I was looking for one that would take my experience to the next level. This curved monitor definitely delivers! The immersive design really pulls you into your work, and the high refresh rate ensures smooth, tear-free visuals. The response time is super fast too, so I never miss a beat and the page does not distort when going full screen. Plus, the monitor has some cool features specifically designed for connecting it to a laptop Overall, I'm super happy with this monitor"
I'm thoroughly impressed. The 34-inch curved display is an absolute game-changer for multitasking and immersive work experiences. The screen real estate is generous, and the curvature adds a new depth to my viewing. The USB-C hub feature is a lifesaver! It's a one-cable solution for connecting my laptop and other peripherals, making my desk clutter-free and simplifying my workspace. The monitor's connectivity options are top-notch, offering a seamless experience across devices.
Bought the P version to ensure slightly longer utilization. Easy to get out of the box even though its quite big.Instructions for setting up two or more inputs was really lacking and not intuitive. Found myself referring back to the digital documentation provided by my Dell salesman but still was confused.NOWHERE does it talk about how to Switch from one source to another. Figured it out after a while but the inputs to allow this are quirky (documentation says you have to use HDMI with a USB-c cable but infact you can use any input but need to reset the monitor so it knows)My understanding was that i could use one mouse across all plugged in computers. This i thought would stretch to all screens. This only works if you switch to that computer input. In short the ... MoreBought the P version to ensure slightly longer utilization. In short the mouse and keyboard doesn't seamlessly stretch from one screen to another.So. the hub is nice for cord management but could have been better.
For productivity enthusiasts, the 36" curved monitor is a game-changer. The expansive screen provides ample room for multitasking, allowing you to have multiple windows and applications open simultaneously without feeling cramped. The curved design also helps reduce eye strain by minimizing peripheral distortion, making long work sessions more comfortable and enjoyable. The built-in USB ports and webcam also allowed me to remove my docking station from my configuration.
This monitor impresses with its combination of immersive curved display, versatile connectivity options, and productivity-enhancing features. The WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440) delivers crisp and vivid visuals with excellent color accuracy and contrast, making images and videos come to life. The curved form factor enhances the viewing experience by minimizing distortion and reducing eye strain, especially during prolonged use. It reduces eye strain.
First, the standard stuff...Impressive for 60 Hz refresh rate and the depth of colors is easily noticeable when dragging windows from other screens. The 3440 x 1440 screen has greatly improved my productivity. I had multiple screens before, and it is not the same. Staying on and working from 1 screen saves tons of time. All that is great, but the best benefit for me has been the reduced fatigue in my eyes. I have used screens and glasses that claimed to be anti-glare, anti-fatigue, and blue light blocking. I still could feel the effects of a long day on the computer. I am not sure if it is the curvature or just being able to focus on 1 screen, but I experience much less fatigue in my eyes at the end of a day.Overall, super impressed with this monitor and I'm ... MoreFirst, the standard stuff...Impressive for 60 Hz refresh rate and the depth of colors is easily noticeable when dragging windows from other screens.
