There is no saturation adjustment in the menus, which is the main element which was off. In all other respects, it's excellent and I have found the rotation feature to be extremely useful when working on vertical format images. The cables that come with it (USB-C - USB-C and the HDMI cable) work fine and are more than long enough to enable me to have the laptop on my lap and a comfortable working distance. There is no reason to purchase additional cables. I don't really use the built-in USB hubs, but they're nice to have, particularly the high-speed ones accessible from the front.

Bright sharp images; easy to set up, but can't adjust monitor height

First curved monitor!
20 January 2023

Took some getting used to but i like the curved design for viewing. It has a crisp and clear image especially using video. The internal speakers work very well, no distortion or echo. It has plenty of inputs for connected devices and the usb-c hub connection provides power and charges my laptop when using. I do prefer usb ports on the side of the monitor for connecting flashdrives, etc but this display has one usb-c and one usb port on the bottom. The display's height adjustment and pivoting make it easy to adapt to different setups. Overall very pleased with this display.

Great looking monitor, minor complaints about random internet disconnects / ethernet drivers
5 December 2022

Great looking monitor, minor complaints about default ethernet driver settings, as the adapter keeps going to sleep using default config. Have to disbale idle power saving from device manager. https://www.dell.com/community/Latitude/Intermittent-Ethernet-Wired-connection-Issue-in-Dell-Latitude/m-p/8068595/highlight/true#M37448. Easy enough of a fix, surprised it has not been addressed yet, other than that its a great display. My only wish for a future version of this monitor would be for built in audio, as now it requires a USB audio adapter if you want only one plug back to your laptop.

Nice monitor changing my life
8 March 2022

This monitor was recommended by a colleague, in part for the ability to rotate it between landscape layout and portrait layout. I was able to set it up by myself, after buying an HDMI cable to connect to my MacBook Pro and an adapter to connect the USB cable to the MacBook. Instructions could have been clearer for someone who never had an external monitor before, but what the manual didn't make clear to me I was able to find out by Googling. It's beautiful. At 81 my eyes are getting old and the ordinary laptop screen is not big enough for me to work comfortably with big excel files and some documents that have a lot of subscripts. And I realize I can happily watch movies etc on it if I don't want to bother to go the living room and use AirPlay to watch it on the big ... MoreThis monitor was recommended by a colleague, in part for the ability to rotate it between landscape layout and portrait layout. But mainly I love being able to work comfortably without hunching over my laptop screen.

Perfect picture quality and great size and value
10 November 2022

Very easy to setup right out of the box. Very consistent backlighting across this relatively large screen. I notice most that the bezel is very narrow, making the screen seem even bigger than it already is. The controls, which you don't use much anyway, are behind the screen and you operate them "blind" with your right hand. Ergonomically this works very well, and the on screen menu that pops up as soon as you touch the button makes it very easy to navigate - I really like this style of control, which I've never seen before. My only disappointment is that the pedestal is not totally stable, so the monitor wobbles just a little if I bump my desk. Not a big deal. Love this monitor.

These monitors made anything next to it look pale in comparison.
5 July 2023

as a consumer, I had difficulty picking a monitor to purchase - this one stood out as a solid best buy and has become the standard size & model for all 100 employees. When I placed this monitor on a user's desktop next to another brand or older Dell model as their 2nd monitor, it wasn't 24 hours before the users complained to their supervisors that they needed to have this monitor on both sides of their desktops. These monitors made anything next to it look pale in comparison. they are lighter weight than the older flatscreens, have adjustable height sliders, and do not have a huge stand making these monitors perfect for any desktop.

Thoughts on this 27" business monitor
13 April 2023

This 27" monitor from Dell offers a good range of motion both height adjustable and tilt/swivel, the picture was good - though at 27" I would prefer a resolution a little higher than 1920x1080 - and unlike some other Dell models I have reviewed, this monitor is locked at 60hz refresh rate, while other models have started using 75hz + for a smoother experience. In my opinion the color accuracy was good, though out of the box tended to learn toward a cooler temperature which was easily corrected. Viewing angles were great as one would expect from an IPS display, and I did enjoy the inclusion of the various USB3 connections. Build quality is good, not overly inlayed with cheap/flimsy plastic, fairly solid all around.

Works ok with multiple OS, setings joystick issues

Older Dell monitors from the same family had more buttons that allowed me to get to menus even when inputs are not detected. To get some older computers or non-pc computers to detect this monitor, you cannot rely on automatic settings.2) The settings joystick. Dell, if you are reading this review, get rid of the joystick and go back to multiple buttons. The joystick constantly sticks and the rapidly goes through multiple options. I hate having to go through multiple menus, multiple times for what used to be a single button push.3) sleep mode. There needs to be a better way to disable it. Monitor does not wake up when computer it is attached to goes to sleep. Joystick is useless. Older monitors at worse allowed you to wake by touching power button. This model requires you to unplug the power cable just to wake it up sometimes.
