Got mine two weeks ago - and I'm very happy. For those interested, I'm upgrading from the DELL U3216Q that I had for 3 years (previous 4K generation from DELL/same size) and now will be using the older one somewhere else. I wasn't expecting such an improvement but the colors are much more vivid and I can't see any pixelation - looks like everything is painted on - not being displayed! The text on white is much more clear and haven't noticed any light bleeding at the edges on regular use, but a Pro reviewer did - I'm just saying you won't notice it unless the whole screen is completely black. This is definitely a top-of-the-line monitor. I use it mainly for work, everyday use (internet, music, you-tube) and multi-player gaming (not a Pro-gamer, just enthusiast) - and ... The bezels of the monitor are thinner and it just looks a lot more modern overall. Easy to adjust position and has lots of ports. So unless you're a professional graphics editor I'd say this is one of the best.

Technically excellent, premium-priced 4k monitor. I use it for CAD design of circuit boards where light bleed and color fidelity are not important. My last big computer monitor purchase was Dell's 3007 30" Abrams Tank monitor that lasted 10 years without failure. The brightness differential between my well-worn 3007 and this new 4K monitor is night and day, literally.I've experienced no stuck pixels thus far after a month's use. I give thought to purchasing a second, matching monitor but my credit card groans when I mention that. The monitor has three mostly insignificant shortcomings:(1.) It has no internal speakers.(2) the control pushbuttons on the lower right edge of the monitor are too small and impossible to find when you quickly reach for the on/off ... No regrets with my purchase of the Dell 32" 4K USB Monitor. Works flawlessly, looks great. Awesome if you want a 32" 4K monitor with great adjustability. As many others have said, the image quality is well worth the price! I imagine someone using this for CAD or photo and video editing would love this monitor. Or someone who wants losts of room, and super sharp fonts for productivity docs. I understand there is another more expensive more color accurate Dell monitor, but I suspect unless you are super serious pro, and are willing to spend almost twice as much, this monitor is more than adequate. I am convinced this would suffice for many professional creatives. I use primarily for productivity work and amateur photo/video editing and occasional movies at my desk. ... Great monitor. The resolution is fantastic, and the images look great. I use it for architectural design and drafting and love the screen proportions. It is not too elongated, allowing me to display more of the architectural model at once. Excellent quality product.
This monitor has the same great quality I've come to expect from Dell (this is the third Dell monitor I've bought over the span of 15 years) along with some great new features. The 4K resolution is stunning and pairs beautifully with my retina MacBook Pro. Being able to connect a single USB-C cable to my laptop for power, video, and USB is a game-changer! No more fiddling with multiple cables when I want to take my laptop somewhere else. This is the largest single display I've owned (previously I had a 24" and 27" side by side) and I was not sure how I'd like the size but it's pretty easy to get used to and I really appreciate the screen real estate. So far, very nice monitor after about 2 weeks of use. I upgraded from a single 24 inch Dell monitor to this 32 inch, 4K monitor to support my photography hobby and for general use. I decided that a two monitor arrangement would consume too much space on my desk but wanted more usable screen area than what I had. I also like the very small bezel frame around the U3219Q which does not extend the overall dimensions much at all. I had concerns reading reviews regards to some reports of "backlight bleeding" and can say the unit I received has nothing noticeable in this regard. I chose a 4K monitor as it seems that's the trend today to get good, sharp images - especially with a bigger display. With 4K, the default (Windows 10) icons and text size is noticeably smaller ... I had concerns reading reviews regards to some reports of "backlight bleeding" and can say the unit I received has nothing noticeable in this regard. I chose a 4K monitor as it seems that's the trend today to get good, sharp images - especially with a bigger display. With 4K, the default (Windows 10) icons and text size is noticeably smaller than what I was used to with my 24 inch. Windows 10 does however provide a means to scale things up to suit with some minor exceptions. I find with some font/text scaling that the viewing distance is comfortable with the monitor about 20-22 inches from front of screen to leading edge of my desk and about 24 inches to my eyes. The monitor came with a calibration sheet. To my eyes, I felt the 75% default screen brightness setting was too high (contrast was also set to 75%), affecting my photo editing (using Photoshop) and so reduced the brightness to around 40%. The monitor did not come with a detailed user manual which would have been nice (especially to identify the screen adjustment button functions, etc.) but it can be downloaded. I have not yet used my separate monitor calibration tool, but told by Dell that this monitor can be calibrated with it. After only a couple weeks of use, thus far I find the display to be very sharp with great color and no apparent flaws.
I love this monitor! The size is perfect for me. I am an engineering student using the monitor with a mid-2014 Macbook Pro 15". I work on this monitor almost all day every day, and it is truly a joy to use. The extra screen space is helpful for having Zoom and other windows open all at once. Some accessories plugged directly into the monitor, instead of the actual computer/laptop, may not work. For instance, if I plug my external camera or speaker into the monitor's USB slots, they will not connect to the computer but will still be powered. Plugging the accessories directly into the computer/laptop fixed this problem. The screen is very crisp, and the refresh rate is great. Youtube videos look good, and the refresh rate is perfect for certain games. Overall, it is a ... MoreI love this monitor! The size is perfect for me. This monitor does everything I'm asking it to do. With the built in KVM I use two laptops, one with USB C and the other HDMI, and the monitor will automatically switch between the two as I put one to sleep and wake up the other. If I choose, it can be manually switched them also if I elect not to put them to sleep. The thing to be aware of is the monitor's HDMI is 2.2 which can be changed to support 1.4, which needed to be done for it to work with an older laptop. The HDMI 1.3 KVM had to be discarded as it didn't work with it at all, but it is outdated technology and with he built in KVM I don't miss the old KVM at all.The image projected on the screen is sharp and crisp and the color, in my opinion is great. It's wide enough to have Word or Outlook opened on one half of the screen and PowerShell or another app on the other half.My concern when purchasing it was the size. it replaced an old 2006 Dell 27 inch 9:10, would it fit in its place? It is a bigger screen but since it's a border less screen it fit very well where 27 inch was.I would definitely buy it again if another one was needed. Recommend it to anyone looking for a new monitor especially if you have two computers and want to use one between them.
I hesitantly pulled the trigger on a *PAIR* of these for my media production workstation. I wanted 4k but didn't think a 27" display was going to be large enough to run at the native resolution with no scaling (which I was correct in assuming). The 27" 4k monitor from Dell is reviewed VERY well on multiple sites but since the 32 was so new, there wasn't much around other than the RTINGS review which absolutely savaged this display for it's flicker.I must have read and re-read that review debating on this display until I found someone else who posted that contrary to the review they also pulled the trigger and said the display was wonderful. I am happy to report that this is the case and there is no visible flicker with this display. It is absolutely incredible ... I am happy to report that this is the case and there is no visible flicker with this display. It is absolutely incredible and working in full 4k with no scaling has completely spoiled me with the amount of screen real estate. If you are hesitating because of the RTINGS review, I would suggest pulling the trigger as well. This is far and away the best looking 32" display I have seen (design wise and visually). The display manager makes easy work of making this 4 x FullHD displays. The ComfortView is very easy on the eyes (nearly immediate visual adjustment) and is a couple clicks away if you need to go back and forth for reference. I find I run this display almost always in ComfortView with the exception of final renders. The other concern I had before purchasing was how much space was BELOW the monitor at full height (I was trying to place a studio monitor/speaker below it). I couldn't find anything about the actual height measurement. At full extension, there is 8 inches below the monitor. The only thing I needed to change was the length of the cables and picked up some 10 footers for my particular install and there are no issues. The only "gripe" if anything, is the placement of the usb ports on the side. This has been where Dell puts ports for well over 10 years. When you have dual displays, you immediately cover up the right monitor's ports so you are stuck using the left only. This can limit you cabling options if you like keeping your desk clean. I think a simple solution would be to move them to the top of the display.
I have had this monitor for a couple of months now and am finally starting to get used to the vast amount of screen real-estate that it provides. The panel is definitely inline with its Ultrasharp name and shows cleanly bright fronts and crisp edges on windows. The panel itself retains a consistent brightness from the center to the edges. There is no perceivable vignetting that I can spot either. I have the panel mounted on an articulating arm which I think has helped greatly in using a panel of this size. Keeping it stationary on the standard stand would have had caused me to slide the stand around my desk. The one complaint I have about the panel is that it has only 1 USB-C port on it and that is used as input for video.
