The monitor portion and parts of the hub are great. It's a really nice screen and I do love it. However I have been getting a charging warning when booting up my laptop. It states that it is charging at 60W and it needs 65W even though the monitor is pushing 90W. It appears to be a false warning since the laptop charges while working and functions normally. I can bypass this easily but something doesn't seem quite right. The rest of the hub is great, I have everything plugged into the monitor and it makes for a much cleaner workspace. Overall I'm really happy with it.

I like the Thunderbolt input, with so many USB types you never know if they will work.I like everything over a single cable to the laptop, including the network. A network cable is so much better than WiFi. Only one cable to disconnect when you are on the go and want to take the laptop.With the SSD, speakers, keyboard and mouse you need more USB ports.The screen resolution could be better.The USB ports are hard to find, and I had to turn the monitor over to find them and make the connections.The instruction manual is bad. The ports are different, and it doesn't explain upstream, downstream, high-power charging, low power charging......I like hooking up an SSD to the monitor for backups. I setup dual U2724Ds on the MDS19 monitor stand and use it primarily for work but it is capable of supporting gaming. It was a significant improvement in color, refresh, etc. compared to previous dual 24" setup I had. Beautiful display that is easy on the eyes. Technology generally improves, and there are a number of real improvements here over my old 27" UltraSharp monitor:Black is deeper black, and the refresh rate is up to double if chosen (120 or 75 rather than 60Hz).Much better display - the automatic brightness and colour temperature works well and gives very readable results.Better controls - the mini-joystick on the back is far easier to use than separate buttons on the bottom of the screen.Better ports better placed - the USB-C and USB-A ports on the bottom of the monitor are particularly useful.Reduced power consumption - I used a smart plug to measure it and, on average, it is 40% of that of my old 27" monitor, which is a fantastic improvement and will pay back the purchase cost in a few years.But ... The built in thunderbolt HUB and daisy-chaining make this really nice to use for photo editing + gaming on my personal PC, and quickly switching to my work laptop for WFH. It's a fantastic choice for a WFH shared office space. When I attempted to use my new QHD monitor with my old dock & brick, it wouldn't allow the new monitor to run at its full resolution, I have the 27" QHD and a 24" FHD. So that was frustrating. In the end, I used the built-in power supply/dock in the monitor and daisy chained monitors. I have both monitors at full resolution now after installing the appropriate .INF files for each monitor. My laptop battery charges slower than it used to, but I'm ok with that compromise. It took me about 1.5 hours to get things running as optimally as possible. It was hardly plug 'n play. This monitor is amazing. it's a 2nd purchase for my home office (both 27"). Depending on the work I'm doing (mostly spreadsheets and business apps), I have one horizontal and the other vertical. The Dell display manager keeps my multiple screens organized. The only issue I have is not being able to daisy chain them together easily. Work purchased a docking station so I didn't need to struggle figuring it out. Other than that, they work perfectly and have a beautiful display. Also, for those of you who think these are overkill for just spreadsheet work, they are not. Buy 2 and working from home becomes just a little bit brighter.

Yes, it costs more than others, but I think it's worth it. The panel is good, menu system is easy to work, connectivity is excellent, design is nice, stand is solid and the included cables seem of good quality.

Daisy-chaining two monitors together never worked, even though this is specifically documented in the users' manual. The KVM feature (controlling 2 computers using the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse) apparently only works if BOTH computers are Dell computers (a fact buried deep within the technical manual). If I just had the non-Dell desktop hooked up to this monitor, the monitor worked fine. But in the KVM configuration with my Dell laptop, only the laptop worked, not my non-Dell desktop.
