I do have to turn my head ever so slightly to see different parts of the screen (far corners), but it's not a strain or a problem.I used to have a 32-inch monitor and thought that was amazing, but now that I have experienced the glory of this monitor, I know I can never go back. Finally, I want to say I had some questions for Dell staff to which they were responsive and helpful to work with. All in all, this was a great purchase and a great purchase experience.

I *thought* this was an HDR monitor because the Dell website listed it as Ultra High Definition in the list of monitors when I filtered for that feature...however it is not. Initially I was really upset and felt that I wasted my money. B&H really tried hard to help any way they could, but their site clearly says that it's not an HDR monitor in the detail specs tab, but I didn't look there because Dell already said it was.BUT, after using the monitor for a few weeks now, I really, REALLY love this monitor! It even allows for transitions between the two settings so they gradually take effect over, say, an hour (or whatever you want.) I'm usually working with lower ambient lighting in the evening hours, so this is a fun feature to play with. I do wish it had an ambient light sensor to change the brightness automatically, but that's okay. You can even have it automatically dim the screen when your screensaver is going, to save on energy. There's also some great screen sectioning capabilities to split your screen up into multiple zones that you can dock your windows into. Since the monitor is so big, I find it rare for me to ever want to have a window full screen, so this is a great feature as well.Overall, I'm super happy with the quality of this monitor!!! Yes, I'm disappointed that I still cannot edit my photos in HDR, but I don't regret this purchase because it's definitely better than what I had before!

There is an app available but it has limited functionality. One week in, I am using the monitor with the panel split into 4 screens just through one device, and actually it is a great workflow - I am sure over time I will learn more and be able to configure other devices to connect. Challenges in particular were how to get sound working through the internal speaker on multiple devices and how to switch between the two and t have completely failed to get KVM working.

Previously I was running a 3 monitor setup connected to a desktop. This ran great for me until I switched to a laptop as my daily driver. The laptop doesn't have a dedicated graphics card so it struggled hard to run the triple monitor setup and I've had the same issue with many co-workers that have had the same issue. This is a monitor is a great replacement for those looking for increased productivity and still maintain the portability of the laptop. I love the USB-C hub that is built into the monitor as well. Price wise, it is cheaper for us to get one of the USB-C Hub monitors than buying a single USB-C hub, and two monitors for our remote workers and employees that hot spot in office.Overall, it took a little bit of getting used to but overall I'm loving it. This is a fantastic large IPS monitor. The 43” size allows you to take advantage of the full 4k resolution at 100% scaling. Text is clear and crisp! And even if you partition the screen into 4x 1080p segments, it’s still pretty good! The multi-display input and built-in KVM is really convenient too! This and other monitor settings can be controlled using Dell Display Manager app,as well as the monitor on-screen display itself. One improvement for desktop usage would have been to add a curve, but the advantage of being flat is that you can sit back at the end of the day and watch movies/entertainment as well, essentially replacing a TV (minus the TV tuner). One other downside is that it’s only 60Hz refresh rate, which is pretty low for 2023 standards (so just about ... MoreThis is a fantastic large IPS monitor. Hopefully it will increase in future, but for now its competitors with higher refresh rates (e.g. gaming monitors), don’t do such a great job of productivity/text clarity. It’s also a bit pricey; if you don’t need the built-in KVM, built-in speakers, USB3 speeds or Ethernet port, then you could go for the similar predecessor (Dell U4320Q) which lacks these and is now much cheaper. However, for me these were worth the extra cost (especially built-in speakers for movies, and also built-in KVM, both helped avoid a lot of desk clutter).
Received this monitor recently and it has changed my setup and efficiency immensely. The sheer size of it allows for multiple laptops/PCs to be viewed at the same time and the really easy to setup USB C Hub and KVM switch allowing for quick and simple switching between each one with keyboard and mouse control. Display is bright and as its 4K looks beautiful. Due to its size, it does take up a lot of desk real-estate and is moderately heavy.Setup is easy with well labelled ports, clear instructions and good on screen user menus.Shipping was fast and the box protects the unit well. The box is also designed well making the removal of the monitor from the box easy for one person.Overall really happy with it and the improvements it makes to my productivity.
The colour gamut was perfect and provided excellent brightness for a monitor displaying in 4K, the only thing missing is a higher refresh (at least 100Hz) to make it 5 star for me. (Next model refresh should embrace DP 2.1 capabilities). Exceeded expectations with performance of the integrated 4x KVM and iMST (well done Dell) an ideal display for enterprise utilization and provides a good power delivery but would be even better if it could deliver more, as per higher power requirement specifications of newer Precision Laptops requiring 165W to get a fast-charge. Overall, viewing angle, colour (and blue light reduction), anti-glare, intelligent array of ports and placement (especially the pop-down hub), and even the stand are robust, feature-packed offerings at this ... MoreThe colour gamut was perfect and provided excellent brightness for a monitor displaying in 4K, the only thing missing is a higher refresh (at least 100Hz) to make it 5 star for me. Note to Dell: Integrated down-firing speakers are half-way to completing the conferencing capability of this display so in future adding a camera +IR and mic (with full video and mic disabling privacy shutter/pop-up) could be discretely added without having to add bulk to bezel (especially if done with a pop-up style camera as in past Dell models)
This is a nice monitor if you need a lot of screen real estate to spread out on. The size has been great for emulating a 4 monitor setup without all the monitor arms and bezels in the way. The display management software has worked pretty well so far and is easy to use. If you have used Windows Power Toys before you can set the behavior up very similar to the Fancy Zones behavior which is nice and this monitor has greatly improved my workflow when used along with Windows Task View. The panel quality is good and text looks crisp and easy to read to me. Colors are decent but not great, but no complaints over all. I have not done it, but it seems like it would color correct fairly well for this panel type with a colorimeter if needed. Colors are decent but not great, but no complaints over all. I have not done it, but it seems like it would color correct fairly well for this panel type with a colorimeter if needed. I use this for my work in software development for context. This has been a nice change from my previous dual monitor setup to increase the size of fonts and the workspace without losing too much visual quality. At this size the 4k resolution still looks a little pixelated if that type of thing matters to you, but is unavoidable without going to a 5K+ monitor. It has been just fine for what I do.My only real complaint would be that the KVM seems to have some quirkiness and issues sometimes. I have two laptops that I go between and the monitor seems to have issues actually switching between them from time to time. Specifically, it doesn't always want to properly switch the mouse and keyboard over to the laptop connected to the primary USB-C port. The display will often switch fine, but not the input devices. It also regularly loses the ethernet connection on the main laptop when switching or if the laptop was powered off for the weekend. The only thing that seems to resolve this is to unplug and reinsert the USB-C cable in the main laptop. Occasionally I have to fully power down the monitor and restart it for things to be detected properly. It's not a deal breaker for me because I don't use the second laptop that often and usually only power down my main work system once a week, but it could be very annoying for someone who needs to switch between systems frequently. That is the main reason for taking a star off for me. If they could sort that out with some firmware at some point it would be a perfect fit for my setup. I think for what it is the price is a little high as well, but the feature set is unique enough at this size that it's still fair. Unless a firmware update addresses the automatic switching issues I would be cautious about relying on the built in KVM for a busy workflow if you're looking for purchase this.
I've been eyeing one of these monitors for months, but my hesitancy to buy was based on the fact that I had no control in receiving the monitor (I have no one at home while I work M-F, a signature is required to receive the shipment - not just a "wink" signature but a real one, and I didn't want this big monitor sitting out in the open on my porch all day in case it was left by a shipper who had no concern of trying to hide the thing). I was able to sync the shipment date on a day when I'd be home for a local appt, and Dell nailed the delivery date. I was able to receive and sign for the package.Alright, so the monitor details. Easy to get out of the packaging and transfer over to my existing VESA 100 mount. The cabling was a direct swap-over from my current Dell 30" monitor. I had it running really quickly. The monitor performance is quite nice. Very bright and no dead pixels, scaled beautifully. I haven't tried to tweak the colors because I am not doing professional image work, but the colors look good by default. I like the position and feel of the power button on the rear bottom right corner.Overall, I'm very happy with the monitor and the shipping method that I was able to plan through Dell. I wish Dell would provide some method of receiving large items like this through an intermediary, such as a Fedex store or a Walmart or something... Some place to ship them to and I can pick them up when I get home from work. The lack of confidence of safely receiving items prevents me from trying to buy more things from Dell.
I love this monitor. I replaced two 27 inch monitors with this monitor. The clearness of everything that's displayed is fantastic. It's so easy to read everything. At first all of the icons for items on my desktop were too large. It was easy to scale them so that they appeared as normal size. The monitor was easy to set up. Basically, it was plug and play. At first, I tried HDMI from a Dell dock but ultimately went with the USB-C connector directly from my laptop. That reduced the number of items on my desk. There are a number of USB-A ports on the back of the monitor that come in handy as well Display Port connectors. If you're looking for high performance and versatility, this monitor is a great choice
