I was looking for a webcam for my desktop that allowed me to use Windows Hello facial recognition to login. I know it's a first world problem, but I was tired of punching my PIN every day. I also wanted something that would work in my lowlight situations while being able to follow my face.Dell hit it out of the park with this webcam. It features an all-metal design, a solid stand that attaches magnetically, and a metal (padded on one side) lens cover that's also magnetic. The camera requires a USB 3.0 port and has a USB-C port on it. The cable Dell provides ends in USB A, I would prefer it if it were USB-C to USB-C. Dell's software is lightweight and doesn't reduce system performance.I like the overall aesthetics of the webcam and it blends in. Dell provides a monitor mount along with a small desk stand if you prefer. I went with the monitor mount though, with my 32" monitor, I'm either always looking up or down when in virtual meetings. Microsoft's eye correction would fix this, if only they would open it up beyond Windows on ARM devices.Either way, this is a great webcam that offers a clear, high-resolution picture. It effectively follows me as I shift around in front of my desk and Windows Hello is quick to recognize my face and log me in. A little on the expensive side, but worth the price.

Webcam works great, the Windows Hello feature is nice. The AI tracking is something I'll slowly start to use more and more. Great video quality with excellent mounting options provided. The form factor is pretty unique to me and I think it's pretty interesting. Everything about the webcam was great out of the box.BUTI did notice that the backing of the privacy shield was somewhat detaching from the metal piece with the Dell logo. I thought nothing of it, but after returning from a long weekend trip, I noticed that the two pieces had separated and I almost lost the front metal piece with the Dell branding on it. It's unfortunate that for such a premium feeling product and for such a large price tag, the privacy cover already has fallen apart.
