Very simple to use just open, add battery, remove USB wireless plug, and plug into laptop and turn on. No downloading no extra anything. You must supply the AA battery. Works very well. I have been using computer mice since they were created I am older then the internet. I like how soft it feels and how easily it glides and how simple it is to use with my laptop. My laptop is not as easy to use as my mouse is still learning this new laptop.

Better information

I have been trying to return for 2 weeks. Couldn't complete process on line and can't talk to a human. I bought because I heard the customer service was great. I also bought 2 computers, still not working. Mouse doesn't work with the 2 computers I just bought. Why would dell sell a mouse that doesn't work with its computers. Didn't supply enough information.

Compact and easy to use - even for large hands

This mouse is small, compact, responsive, and has a good feel. Even though I have very large hands, it is easy to grip and use. (I can hold a basketball from the top with one hand, i.e. "palm a basketball.") The scroll wheel, left click, and right click all have has a light touch but are not too sensitive. I appreciate that this mouse is very basic without unnecessary functions - exactly what I want. The included dongle stores neatly inside the body. Setup is easy and quick; the mouse is ready to go in a matter of seconds after plugging the dongle into a USB port. I have used this mouse for several hours at a time without any discomfort. I find it to be quick, simple, and easy to use .

Dell WM-126 for the Capital Wing

Just purchased a new Del Inspiron 16 computer with wireless mouse WM-126. I'm a klutz when attempt to use a touch pad and much prefer to use a mouse. The WM-126 is perfect for me. Not too big. Not too small. Just the right size. And it provides pin-point accuracy when performing photo editing. As the Warbird Rides Coordinator for the Capital Wing, I do a lot of photo and text editing to produce our marketing materials.

The purchase of the WM126 wireless mouse was a surprisingly positive experience to me. I ordered WM126 without checking the size of the mouse. When the mouse arrived, I realized my mistake - the mouse was too small. On the Dell website, I initiated the return procedure pointing to my mistake. Feels great. Works great!

The mouse feels great in my hand and is very smooth to use. It's responsive in all of the right ways. It worked great for the first week and then stopped working consistently. I had placed a battery in that was not the one sent with it. I believe that was the cause of the challenge. I've replaced the battery with the one Dell sent and it's working great again.

Replacement mouse purchase

Wanted a replacement for the mouse supplied with my system that I purchased in November 2023, I could only find this one on the DELL site so ordered it. The mouse is significantly smaller than the one I have and, for my large hands, unsuitable for everyday use. My original one has a problem in that the left button appears to be sticking some times and causes a command to be repeated ad infinitum that has caused me a lot of problems when editing sheet music. I will keep the mouse as a backup but rather disappointed.

Wireless mouse may be suitable for a laptop but not a desk t

If I plug the receiver dongle into a usb3 socket on the front of my system unit, the pointer jumps about the screen mostly randomly and often come to rest at the bottom of the screen, sometimes it does not connect. The system unit is under the desk, the mouse mat on top of the desk about 60cm from the dongle, (one desk thickness between the two).Plugging the dongle into a USB extension on top of my desk at about the same distance, improves the pointer response, but if I set the mouse pointer speed a bit lower than default, it behaves very well.
