First one we ordered died after 30 seconds of use, we received a replacement.The toaster on the setting 1 (minimum) overcooks thick cut toast. Ok with standard slice. I haven't tried a setting of 5, as I don't want to start a house fire.

I fell in love with this the moment I saw this set. I had to get it and get the whole set. The clean lines looks perfect in my kitchen and doesn't take up any space. The Ballerina, has gorgeous proportions, unique designit receives a lot comments from friends admiring it,Stylish like it's from a former era however still so modern.The best part of all, is that this is the only toaster I've owned that toasts the bread evenly.
Nice Italian design, looks good on benchtop, good size and features like defrosting function. Toasts evenly too. Good price.
It’s a nice looking toaster and is easy enough to use. We need to have it set on near the top setting to get the toast we like that’s with gluten free bread and a heavy wholemeal bread. It’s clean looking easy to keep clean. It’s slow in cooking toast though. I thought it would be better than it is a bit disappointing really. Bought it with the matching kettle .
