Wish we had the ability to froth our own drinks. The auto version doesn’t do a great job. Like the combined drinks but would like to make the option to do it myself. All in all it’s a really fun thing and a great way to self pamper. Would like a feature that allowed you to measure out enough beans for a single cup. My wife doesn’t like the dark roast and I don’t like blonde that she likes. We end up filling the hopper with one or the other and one of us suffers through. Small medium or large cup of coffee would also be a nice feature -

Automatic Milk Frother - what a headache!

We bought this machine in October 2022. It worked perfectly and brought great joy to our mornings... until we did the descaling process. The milk frother stopped working after that. We contacted DeLonghi and they sent us a new milk frother but it turned out to be an issue with the machine itself. We sent the machine for repair. Came back - worked great until we did the descaling. Same issue. This time they sent us a new machine instead of repairing. Worked great... until we did the descaling. Same issue. New machine again. First flat white from this machine - perfect. Second (and subsequent attempts) - starts out great but then stops working and spits out steam. We didn't even have the machine long enough to do the descaling this time! So disappointed in this product.

Fills all the boxes

This is a great espresso maker . Replaced a semiautomatic De’Longhi that I used everyday for 10 years before it began to leak.. The automatic drinks and rinse functions and latte milk dispensing makes my weekend. It is quieter than my previous maker. It is a little slower than the one function but produces a hot fully extracted espresso and an excellent coffee from the drinks menu. Looks fantastic on my counter. Great delivery. There is a learning curve because there are so many options. Made myself and partner a cheat sheet with an enlarged photocopy of the control panel and added notes on it.. One week of caffeine happiness so far

Great Product

Overall I do give this 4 stars. The coffee and espresso tastes phenomenal. However I do see where some better things could be done with it. My stainless steel Yeti to go cup will not fit under when you’re on the go. I also want there to be an easier way to pick a drink and pick how many oz of drink you want it to make with a milk to espresso ratio built in for a quicker process than reprogramming each drink one by one.I have handle multiple compliments on the taste of my drinks from this machine and the ease of use for someone with zero barista experience is very simple! I am satisfied with my purchase.

It makes every one of my mornings special!!

The Dinamica is a great machine for a very busy coffee lover like me. As with anything, the quality of the coffee bean is the single most important factor in a good espresso or barista drink. The second is the machine and the Dinamica is that second most factor. Easy to clean and maintain, I really like how personally modifiable the various coffees are; in terms of strength, temperature and size. Very, very satisfied with this purchase and with the excellent staff at Heartland who were extremely helpful in my decision to buy this model.

Makes delicious drinks!

I thought it was time to start making my coffee/latte at home rather than going to a nearby coffee shop. The Delonghi espresso maker is making that possible.I like that I don’t need a lot of barista knowledge to be able to operate this espresso machine. The grinder does make some noise when operating, but overall it is relatively quiet compared to other grinders I have heard in the past.There are several preprogrammed drinks to choose from and you can alter the recipes for each of these. I was surprised there wasn’t a drink labeled Americano to choose from. It does have a regular “coffee” setting as well as a “lungo” setting. There is an aroma setting to choose your brew strength.You can set the temperature of your brew and it does make hot coffee, but not quite as hot as my single cup coffee maker does. I really like very hot coffee, so this is a bit of a disappointment.With this machine you have to be sure to have enough water before it starts brewing or you will not be happy with the results. Once water is added, it does not finish the brew cycle, you actually have to start with a new grind. This is also true for adding more beans.I have found that the drip tray lid scratches really easily. After just a few uses, the chrome has several scratches on it just from placing my cup there.The milk/foam settings are very good on this machine from flat whites to lattes to cappuccinos. I have only used regular cow’s milk, but Delonghi states that other types of milk may be used as well.Cleaning the machine is very simple. It automatically cleans the lines at shutdown or upon start up. The large parts are easy to wash in warm soapy water, or place in the dishwasher.Overall, I am very pleased with this espresso machine. It is quite easy to operate and the drinks are excellent.

Never drinking regular coffee again.

Iwe have had this expresso machine for a few weeks now and have completely stopped purchasing tims horton and mcdonalds coffee daily. We are not fans of expressos, but this machine also has custumizations and makes a superb coffee that tasts the same everytime. The lattes and cappuchino's are spot on everytime. Cannot comment on maintemance or performance on the long run as the machine is new. I would purchase this again.

A real work horse of an espresso maker, which finally gave up its all. My brother in law, a DeLonghi Lattisima lover, recommended we get a Delonghi due to their reliability and efficacy in making a great cup of coffee. Set up was quite straight forward if following the directions and navigating experience in using and maintaining the machine is not very long nor difficult. Where this machine shines is the quality and improvement of our coffee quality from our Keurig, the variety of coffee types, options for programming and the ease of cleaning. Coffee is quite hot and foam and milk hot enough mostly, perhaps if using a mostly milk coffee like a latte’ then it could be a tad hotter. I don’t like warm coffee, it must be hot and John at Consiglio was very helpful with his guidance and recommendation. Alternatively, the machine does have sensors for a full puck tray, empty tank etc and really should be able to sense and warn to fill up before allowing you to choose your cup rather than force abort the process midway. Our Keurig machines over the years, as basic as they are in comparison, has these sensors that warn before or resume the coffee making when refilled. That can be very annoying. I have just bought a new coffee bean roaster to replace our recent one that broke and looking forward to roasting my own and enjoying the simplicity and experimenting of getting that perfect bean mix and coffee taste that was not attainable with the Keurig reusable K cup.

Pretty but expensive

This machine looks great! It's a lot of work for the price though. I am one person having one cappuccino each morning yet the tank needs to be filled often. The milk foam is very good when I get the setting right. I love fresh ground however not sure its worth $1400. My Illy Francis for $99 made wicked cappuccinos etc but with pods. I wish I had bought the Plus however everyone was out of stock! The Delonghi service (immediate issues with turn on clean water not going into holes) is amazing and Consiglio as well!
