This device is great for tech minded & capable users. With the app you can switch it on & make a coffee from a menu of choices. You can also create your own unique coffee. Want more water, less water, more or less beans, more or less milk? You can do this on the machine as well & over ride pre-defined recipes. I have been using for over 7 months and while initially hesitant, I'm now confident in recommending this. My only gripes are: 1. It doesn't have a milk frother attachment for making a hot froth manually. The auto frother makes a lukewarm froth 2. You can't schedule it to power on so it's ready to go when ur getting ready for work. I keep ours off for power saving.

I only wanted freshly grinded and brewed, and my wife wanted milk based coffee drinks so this was a good choice. We never use the all the amount of gimmicks thought. I bought the Dinamica Plus over the standard Dinamica because I valued how customisable the machine was using the app. The app doesn't work on andriod devices, it loses the machine then asks to for a wifi connection. if by chance you get the app to load you can't customise your drink at all. The only reason I paid extra for the Plus was so I could fully customise my coffee selections. The machine is great makes a good coffee with lots if options but you can't customise via the machine as much as you can via the app. Would be an awesome product if they got the app working properly. If you're going to create an app that communicates with a device make sure it works on all platforms including andriod.
Pros: I love the automatic cleaning and the screen instructions to tell me what to do. I also love being able to edit the recipes via the app. And of course the proper barista style coffee. Cons: Connection between the machine and the smartphone app is clunky. I have to select the coffee machine every time and there seems to be a data transfer even when nothing has updated which is unnecessary. It should work like blue-tooth headphones where you pair the device once and it connects automatically when opening the app afterwards whenever the machine is in range. Frustratingly, sometimes the app won't update a new coffee recipe I create but it won't tell me why, it just doesn't do it. Better error messaging is needed.
Pros: What an upgrade this is, in both speed and quality. We have always used QualitĂ Rossa and Pellini N°9 Cremoso coffee beans when making our coffee and the whole process would take us at least 15 mins in the morning; grinding the beans in a separate small grinder and making coffee on the stove using Italian coffee maker. Espresso takes under 30 seconds and is so creamy. The stove coffee maker has never produced such quality coffee. We usually add a dash of cream to our coffee. However, the cappuccino, wow! Using almond milk, when frothed, it is so light and creamy. Quality of a drink you get at a coffee shop. We are really pleased with the machine. Itâs been total complements when people visit. Cons: Sometimes the beans need a bit of a jiggle as they get stuck despite the grinder being pretty much full. For me the largest disappointment was the Coffee Link App. Itâs kind of pointless, let me explain.When using the machine, it will flush through first. So, letâs say you set the machine up with your cup the night before or before leaving for the day, wake up/on your way home and use the app to make your coffee. The flush/cleanse cycle would also be included in your cup of coffee. I would like to see the app incorporate a time function with the option to switch of the flush as part of the setup.

LOVE my new Dinamica Plus. Makes a really lovely coffee no matter what you like, expresso, latte, cappuccino etc. I have been apprehensive to spend a lot on a coffee machine but I'm glad I waited because I wasn't disappointed! If you don't want to be bothered with tampering coffee and frothing your own milk, this is the machine for you. I use oat milk and it had no problems making a lovely froth. Nice and compact so doesn't eat up valuable bench space, nice easy clean, and self cleaning also. Only one negative is the instructions aren't very clear and can't find the app yet, but minor probs compared to the excellent coffee it makes.
We bought this to replace an old Saeco Royale machine, and aside from the additional tech, this machine is inferior in every way. The features are cool, in that you can set up your own coffee preferences under profiles etc, but if you're like me, and most people I imagine, you'll have the same coffee every time, so the 9 other options are redundant.It makes nice tasting coffee, but I have a few issues with it (and this may just be by comparison to my old saeco machine)The water tank is too small, I find myself refilling it all the time.The coffee grounds container is also too small, and you have to empty it very regularly. The cup warmer helps with this, but only if you have time to turn it on and let it warm up for 30 minutes before the first cup.Overall, the machine looks nice and makes decent coffee, but if a 10 year old machine can produce better coffee with a wider selection (albeit less technical) options, there is room for improvement.
