Negatives - its a bit bulky if you are short of counter space. The freezer function burns the toast even on the lowest setting. For the price, at the time ($219) I think I could have done better. Otherwise it's an ok toaster, nothing special. There is a bagel setting however you have to cut the bagel in half first which kind of defeats the point. ItrPositives - you can set two slices with different heat settings from the other two.

Such a beautiful toaster, I have the matching kettle as well, looks great in our kitchen, also cooks the toast quite nicely, has settings to adjust for the perfect cooked toast.
