Love it. The salesman explained it prior to purchasing so that made things a lot easier to work out. Its so easy to clean, reminds you when things need cleaning, takes you through his to clean it too. Makes a great coffee and can even set your favourites with your name. You can see how many coffees have been made, change the temp, check water hardness, and lots more. Definitely worth the money for this household

We are loving our new addition to our kitchen. It is so simple to use and makes such a beautiful coffee. I love that it has an option for take away coffee cups and it saves your favourite settings. We even use the hot milk setting to make the kids hot chocolates - giving them such a creamy milk drink that they could almost eat with a spoon! It tells you what it needs for cleaning as well, which takes the guesswork and worry away when it comes to maintaining it. It lets you know when you're running low on water, when to empty the drip tray and coffee grounds and the milk canisters have a self-cleaning function too! The only reason we gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the noise - which is to be expected, but my partner can't really make a coffee before work ... MoreWe are loving our new addition to our kitchen. Pros: So easy to use. You can make any coffe to dream about. Also can regulate cooffe strongest. What is the best for me - don't need to remember to add water, clean or anything else. All information you can get from the screan, even how to clean evry singiel part!! I could't wish nothing better in my kitchen!!

I have always had a delonghi coffee machine they have never disappointed me but this one exceeds all expectations the iced coffee option is a winner! Never thought that I would drink so many soy iced coffees ha ha , (sorry to my waistline! )the extra cold jug is a bonus in choice of milk to use I read that it was very noisy almost put me off buying it but honestly this one is not that noisy compared to other machines! I love the hot coffee that comes out most machines make coffee Luke warm only. (Hate that!) The Auto cleaning instructions is easy too. A lot of reviews recommended getting a machine with a milk wand as it makes your milk better and you have more control over the consistency. In the end I didn’t choose one with the wand but this one. Mainly because after thinking about it I realised I’d have to stand every morning for a couple of minutes sorting out my milk when I really just wanted a machine to do it all for me. I was worried before receiving this that I wouldn’t be keen on the consistency of the milk having had a latte from a friend’s machine which automatically did the milk. It’s quick and easy to learn how to use with the useful touch screen keeping you right as you go. The coffee is a perfect temperature for me, lattes and anything with milk are absolutely fine for me. I add cold water into my black coffee to cool it down a bit. I’m not a big fan of cold coffee but my daughter absolutely loves this option.It tells you when to top up the water and empty the puck tray which again is very easy to do. I’m so so happy with this machine and it’s already saved me a fortune in take away coffees. Cons: The only thing that can be a bit annoying is it doesn’t tell you when the coffee beans have run out. I can tell by the grinding noise that it’s run out once it’s started making a coffee but by then it’s too late and it makes a very weak coffee. Would be good if it could notify you when they have run out.
As mentioned by others the coffee is brewed hot, we haven't needed to up the default mid level heat setting. Well done, DÄ“Longhi. User profiles and customisation have made this a fantastic purchase. One of our 'users', who shall remain nameless, is particularly happy with the ease of use and clean up. Best of all, it does right by a quality coffee bean, this makes a great coffee.
Pros: Better than average instruction manual.Touch screen display is crisp clear and intuitive, really easy to follow even if you didn't read the instructions. The multitude of options to tailor your coffee to suit your and others tastes is great. Access to all parts is from the front, apart from coffee beans of course. Cons: Too many coffee recipes which are pretty similar to each others. You can create a Cortado and Flat white to the same recipe.

I love the touch screen display and I love that it tells me when things need to be filled up or emptied, so I never have to think about it. Being able to customise the drinks and even to set up different profiles for myself and my wife is fantastic, especially with it being so easy to do. In a time of overly complicated technology that often doesn't work well, this machine is a breath of fresh air. It does what it's supposed to, it does it very well, and it doesn't make my life complicated! Cons: Hard to find anything to improve. Unboxing and set up was daunting as it all looked so complicated. Once you've mastered your brew your can save it in user profiles so it'll remember how you like it. Very convenient when you're using with family or friends.The "To Go" function is great for filling a large take out cup for the journey to work . Once you've set it up it remembers it.You can also use it instead of a kettle for hot water. This might not sound very exciting but consider the current cost of boiling a 3kw kettle, compared to the lower running cost of this, it makes sense. Cleaning is fairly simple and the machine does it's best to self clean after every use. Although at time's I found this a little annoying especially when just making one coffee. Empty the coffee grind pot as and when needed depending on use. Pretty much all of the accessories are dishwasher safe which is a big plus point. Over all i'm very impressed and would definitely recommend. It's better than some of the more expensive alternatives I've used before. It's mess free with no coffee grinds to clear up, no steam wand to clean every time you use it. It's no different to walking into a garage and using a high street branded take out machine. It's a win for me. Cons: The only thing I found mildly annoying is that it rinses itself through every time you turn it on and off. It warns you on screen but if you don't move quickly you'll end up filling the drip tray very quickly. I ended up leaving a pot under the coffee outlet so I wound't miss the rinse. Although I found if you leave it in auto shutoff (15mins changeable in the settings) it doesn't do a power off rinse. The milk frother does the same thing although you have to turn a switch, so there's more control over it. These two things are minor annoyances compared to what you get in positives and something i'd expect on an automatic machine. It's keeping itself clean so I don't have to worry about it.
