10/10. Post-graduate and almost 30 year old who's lived off of portable heaters in apartments in major U.S. cities. This is it. Living in a one bedroom apartment, this gets it to whatever temp you want in literally 15 minutes. I wish I had this years before. Also getting to turn off my apartment air system to save money cause this is efficient on electric. Buy this to heat any room (up to 1 bedroom I know) in minutes. Ten outta ten .

I was just using it to circulate the air in the room in the summer months and decided to clean out the filter. After cleaning out the filter the Delonghi TCH8093ER shows no signs of life. It will not power up. I suspect it has something to to with the tip over safety switch not resetting. I tried to open it up but the star screw heads are very small. Delonghi makes it difficult to get it open and troubleshot the problem. I do not recommend purchasing this heater. I only had it for 6 months and it doesn't work.

Used in a pretty large area - probably larger than ideal, but it still does a good job. The thermostat kicks in when it's warm enough. The remote is a great feature. It's relatively quiet. I'm yet to get an electricity bill, so not sure if running costs are better than the old heater. But I think with the Eco setting, it should be at least a little better. I hope so anyway - working at home with COVID and having to run things all day, every day at the moment, it's going to be a big bill regardless.

Great little heater
3 August 2022

I was using my reverse cycle a/c, but was only heating the top half of the room.I only have a small lounge and wanted something that was quick, cost efficient and notcumbersome. This little vertical heater is perfect. The ceramic panels provide instantheat and I only need it on for a short time to make my lounge warm and toastie.Really pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend.

13 December 2023

I used same model in Australia. It works very well and heat house in an hour and two. Fitting also very convinient with screws. Quality and finishing of product was very good. But same product in USA was looks very cheap not get heat as promptly. Overall not satisified USA product.

Not satisfied with heating performance
29 January 2024

Got this for my parents since the weather suddenly got cold.First of all, it took about 11 days to receive the product and this is understandable. I immediately bought another space heater at Amazon (Chinese product) since they needed at least 2 heaters for both floors and it was delivered right away which made a difference. But the important part was the performance of the two heaters. I was expecting the De'Longhi product to be better than the Chinese brand because it was recommended in several renowned review sites but surprisingly my parents prefer the Chinese model since they think it's much warmer. They said that the De'Longhi model had much smaller heating pad area and ventillation outlet compared to the Chinese model which had much larger heating pad area ... MoreGot this for my parents since the weather suddenly got cold.First of all, it took about 11 days to receive the product and this is understandable. For your reference, the two models were all tower type, 1500W power, around $100 premium model.I was planning to buy two De'Longhi products for my parents, but since the delivery was a little too long (Free delivery was supposed to be around 7 days), and since the heating performance was not I was expecting for a premium brand, I don't think I'd recommend this product to other people.

TCH8093ER Tower Ceramic Fan heater

The design is beautiful! I was amazed at how attractive it was & how well packaged. I put the stand on & plugged it in. It heated quickly & is very quiet. I bought this as back up to my older Delongi heater which still works like a champ. Thank you for another quality product

The Thermostat Does Not Work Whatsoever
19 December 2022

I have the small version of this heater that I bought 20 years ago and it still works great. So I decided to stick with DeLonghi even though I can buy heaters with the same features for half the price. The most important thing to me is the thermostat, unfortunately it does not function at all on this heater. Last night I woke up and it was 49 degrees in my bedroom. My face was so cold!If I fall asleep with the heater on I wake up sweating in a 75 degree room. My sinuses are dried out, and I am really afraid for when I see my electric bill. We have the second highest/highest electricity in the US depending on which article you read. This particular heater has been out of stock for awhile which leads me to believe that it's discontinued. So I can't exchange it for ... MoreI have the small version of this heater that I bought 20 years ago and it still works great. Unhappy With This Product
29 November 2023

I am totally unhappy with this unit. It does not warm hardly at all. I have been using the DeLonghi products (the radiator type) for decades now and was hoping to get a product worthy of the name. At this price, I was hoping for a lot more heat than I get. I have to sit almost on top of it! I now have to deal with returning it (which is a lot of work and will cost me time and money but will be glad to get it out of my home.

Works well in my office space.
2 December 2023

This heater works well in my office space. It heats up quickly, and I really like the ability to turn it on and off with the remote. Looking forward to utilizing the fan feature in the warmer months.
