Purchased to take away in motorhome as don’t want to put main heater on first thing in the morning Does warm up the area and is very quiet. Great that it has a remote control. Set up night before and can be turned on without getting out of bed.

Don't buy if you are after Silent operation
17 July 2022Anything but silent

I was after a heater that had silent operation. The fan noise in silent mode is fine without the swivel. When you turn on the swivel function you start to hear intermittent static and grinding noise as the unit swivels. The noise is annoying enough whilst you are working or have it on at night. When I took the unit back after a day from the date of purchase the management refused to refund my purchase as they didn't see it as a fault but an undocumented feature.

Excellent heater

Excellent heater. Warms medium size room easily. Its light and easy to move around the home when needed. I run it on Eco mode and it delivers everything I expected for the price. It certainly beats the cost of running gas ducted heating! Note: Delonghi state in their manual that a battery is included for the remote control, but it is not.

Good portable heater overall
25 October 2021

Great compact portable heater. Heats up my study room quickly (with the door closed) on the highest setting. Remote works fine though it can only detect the remote if facing directly in front (can be a hassle if on swing mode). The quiet mode isn’t as quiet as I expected, but this doesn’t bother me. It’s also light and easy to move around the home which is convenient for me as I like to move it between my bedroom and the study room. Overall a great product for what it is.

Handy heater
28 June 2020

I purchased this heater as a second heater in addition to our gas heater. It is pretty good for heating in our dining/family area and we have used it in our living room as well, but I don't think it would ever make these open plan rooms really cosy when it's really cold. It is easy to operate and provides instant heat and It is quiet and easy to move around. The heating element is not the full length of the tower, as I thought it would be, but the fan seems to push the heat out fairly well. I think it should have cord minding brackets on it as there is nowhere to wind up the cord when it is not being used. It was probably a bit expensive compared to other brands, but I am happy with it for a backup heater, or for use in an office or bedroom.

Keeps Room Extremely Comfortable
9 July 2022

We enjoy the accurate thermostat and rotation features that keep our room a constant comfortable temperature. It warms the space up quickly and then only kicks back on when needed to maintain the room temperature. We use the Eco feature always. Great ceramic heater and would definitely recommend.

Only worked for eighteen months and control panel
9 July 2022

I bought this product eighteen months ago, and the control panel has failed and the heater only blows cold air. The heater has had an easy life. Would I buy this heater again, definitely not. lso havent had the support from the manufacturer you would expect under consumer law. The heater is expensive for what it is and lasts only eighteen months. Not good enough DeLonghi

Pretty good for a small to medium room
24 June 2022

Wasnt quite what we expected. Its ok, not great. Heats a bedroom ok but struggles in a lounge area. Noisier operation than I thought and the loud beep when changing any of the settings is annoying. Go see it and test it before buying. Would I recommend? Probs not.

Some great features
17 June 2022

Pros- the size is great and heats okays on high. Cons- the cord could be longer, the silent option is very low heat so useless and operating buttons have loud beeping noise so defeats the purpose of silent option when you want switch it off.

Yes

I have a split system in our master bedroom. It works fine. My wife and I had a baby, so we thought due to the size of the room, we might need a little more heat. Bought this, and now we ONLY use this. Very powerful, easy to turn on and off with the remote, lightweight so you can move it around if you need to. Heats up the room within a few minutes. 28° is actually very very warm! We use it on the Eco friendly setting at 23° We bought another one for another room. The 2000w one, works just as well. Highly recommend.
